Moroccan Mint Tea

Green Herbal Blend by Whittard of Chelsea

The original Arabic blend of Green Gunpowder tea and spearmint blend is tremendously reviving and a most refreshing digestive. Best brewed very light, but locally in North Africa made strong with sugar.

Thank you Ellyn! I love me some Moroccan Mint. I ordered some from Whispering Pines and the label said to steep it in 212 degree water for 30 seconds. I thought it was a bit odd and didn’t think it would turn out good but for some reason I find it more flavorful and bold rather than steeping it like a normal green. I pretty much chugged this down after a HUGE meal. I had a tummy ache :[ But it’s gone now :D
Thank you again :]

Nice Tea but too strong for me. Available in loose tea or bags

I don’t drink a lot of moroccan mint, because I don’t like gunpowder. That said, I did enjoy this tea: there’s a great balance between green tea and peppermint, you can clearly taste both without one overpowering the other. I don’t know if it was good enough to make me want more of this tea, though.

This tea is really refreshing. Makes a nice change from traditional peppermint tea, have even converted my boyfriend. Brilliant when working and after a large meal

I really liked this tea. It was a good green tea. The mint wasn’t very strong but the green tea flavor was definitely there. It was very refreshing.

Made another pot of this for today cause my bf drank all of the rest of my first pot – lol. He apparently really likes iced mint green tea.

I made a pot of this iced tonight. For some reason I never thought to ice this, but then today I was like how delicious would the minty goodness of this tea be cold! And I was right it is so yummy cold, the mint flavor really shines through! Uber refreshing!

I haven’t had this tea in a while, but I decided it was just what I needed while doing my reading for my Advanced Physical Anthropology class. And it was…green, minty, refreshing, delicious!

Had this again today. It wasn’t hot enough but it was still pretty good. Good green tea flavor with just a hint of mint.

Also I must add that I am writing this tasting note on an iPad and it is really cool. Steepster looks very nice on it.

I really am enjoying this tea. It both relaxes me and wakes me up. It is also really refreshing.

Had another cup of this. My second cup reminded me of sleepytime tea. I don’t know why. Maybe it is the spearmint.

Traditionally, without sugar, mostly because it’s so late.

This tea was a gift from my inlaws. Very fun gift, it’s a tea I probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise, but really enjoy!

made a pot to help get through the work of the evening. loading up on agave nectar to imitate the traditional taste, without the sugar.
