KARIGANE Superior Gyokuro Kukicha

KARIGANE is an exclusive name given to only superior quality Kukicha (Stem Tea) Green Tea and is made from the stems of only the finest Gyokuro. The initial taste of Kukicha is much like that of Sencha with a soft astringency, yet is followed quickly by the deep and refreshing umami and delicate sweetness that only Gyokuro can produce.
Due to KARIGANE being made from Gyokuro it is essential that the tea is prepared in the same way, using moderately hot water (approximately 60℃) and by brewing the tea for an elongated period of time.
