From Yogi Tea

As everyday impurities find their way into our bodies, we may be left feeling tired or out of balance. Yogi DeTox is a gentle way to help the body cleanse itself by aiding the two primary filtering organs, the liver and kidneys. Our tea uses the time-honored purifying herbs Burdock and Organic Dandelion to support the liver, and Juniper Berry to promote kidney function. The traditional Ayurvedic cleansing blend called “trikatu” (Ginger, Black Pepper, and Long Pepper) supports blood flow, while Indian Sarsaparilla adds spicy flavor. When combined with an overall wellness program, DeTox helps bring healthy balance from within.*

I don’t drink this to “detox”. I drink it for the pleasing flavor. I love licorice, and the other spices are fun. I don’t add sweetener- I think it would detract from the flavors.

I really like this tea. I was happy with the spicy flavor. I enjoy it chilled and like to drink it to help with food cravings. This is the first entire box of tea I’ve ever finished.

If you wanna be rollin on ayurvedic herbs, this is your best bet. Definitely gives you clarity and some really excellent energy. I’m using it right now for a light detox week and I can already feel myself pepping up.

Flavor wise… It really is supposed to be like medicine. So it doesn’t bowl you over with awesome tastiness, but it isn’t really supposed to.

Just started drinking this. Not too bad. The taste isn’t much to ride home about and I haven’t had enough to notice any affects, but will update when I do.

I seriously couldn’t even drink it. I tried to give it away to other tea drinkers and had no takers…wouldn’t recommend it. I’ll eat fruit and veggies to dexot, thank you.

First of all, this tea does not taste all that great.
HOWEVER, I drink 2 cups a day for a week each month, and it really helps me.
Since I started doing this, my skin is clearer, I have more energy, and my other systems (disgestive, mostly) seem to work better.

It doesn’t taste terrible…it’s spicy. The flavor is like chai and licorice – not my ideal, but definitely bearable due to the benefits.
