kava has helped me with my anxiety due to tinnitus. however i am wary about the collateral damage to my liver that it may inflict. As of the moment, i just imbibe it occasionally and responsively. Hope the manufacturer or producer can come up with a definite answers whether it can really harm the liver despite responsive usage

A cup of this saved my life yesterday (well, in as much as my cubicle existence could be life threatening). I’ve drank other “calming” teas in the past to help take the edge of, but I was ending up pretty sedated and woosy – not ideal for productivity. This tea didn’t give me any of those side effects, but definitely did the trick to relieve my stress! I’m keeping a box in my desk at all times. :)

Always liked this tea.

It does seem to help me relax. Kava is not some hokey wives’ tale – it can be powerful stuff. I like the taste of it. Spicy and smooth. Personally, I’ve been cutting the bags open and mixing it in with some masala chai. Makes for a good spicy blend that wakes you up but keeps you relaxed. Tastes good too.

I bought a box of this at Whole Foods after reading some good reviews in a few anxiety forums. I’ve been having terrible anxiety lately and this stuff is a blessing. Basically, it puts me to sleep. It does have a strong smell but it’s not really a bad smell. It mostly just smells like cinnamon and ginger.

This tea requires an aquired taste. It is effective but should not be used in excess, with alcohol, prescribed drugs or if you are pregnant. That is how strong it is. So drink responsibley. It can cause liver damage if overused.

A lot of flavors, with that same sarsaparilla aftertaste that you get with a lot of licorice teas. One of my favourites.

Smooth, with a hint of cinnamon and nuttiness. It actually does relieve feelings of stress – without putting you to sleep. Nice.
