I’m not a fan of Yogi Teas in general. Yes, I know tea is healthy, but I drink it for the taste and not the health benefits. Most of the samples I’ve tried of their teas have been, to put it nicely, unpalatable. It’s like you can taste the fact that it’s marketed to be a supplement.

I saw this tea at a holistic foods store in South Carolina. It sounded so good that I had to get and try it, despite my past history with Yogi.

To my surprise, it’s really good. Yes, it still has a slight “supplement” taste, but there’s definitely apple in there, and spices that remind me of Aztec hot chocolate. This is my last bag, sadly. If I see it again, I’ll probably buy more.

Steeped 5 minutes.

A great spice tea. It tastes similar to apple cider, but with a powerful addition of cinnamon.

Love this. I got it because the area I’m in is being hit with a nor’easter and the weather is cold, damp, and fairly miserable. This tea warmed me right up! Mildly fruity and very spicy.

I love this tea. Usually keep 3 bags in my purse to get me through a long day at work. Spicy, sweet, and with just the right amount of apple, I find this to be a staple in my cabinet. Alas, my local grocer stopped carrying it. Mixed it with meadowfoam honey to enhance the sweet apple.

Yum! This was a free sample I picked up from a health food store. I thought it was an herbal tea but I was pleasantly surprised! The apple spice flavor went well with the black tea – perfect for a crisp autumn afternoon.

Not a bad tea. At first I didn’t like it, it had a mesh of spice that seemed like over-kill.. however after a few more sips the apple flavor was more pronounced and made for a better flavor. I’ve had smoother blends, but this one would be a good substitute on a cold day I think. I also think it would have probably benefited from some milk and maybe sugar.
