I ordered Teavana’s perfect tea maker yesterday (I swear it was yesterday) and it came to me in the mail already! I was soooo happy X) I decided to try this next sample from Zhi tea. It’s a very nice tea, similar to the Royal Courtesan. I think I really like the taste of these roasted oolongs. I definitely see myself reordering this one (and I don’t remember it being particularly expensive either).
Dong Ding Oolong
One of our Artisan Reserve organic oolong teas, a line of small batch handmade teas from a craft handed down over generations. Hand selected for having all the hallmark qualities of the highest grades with noteable personality accents.
This is a superb tea from April, 2009, stored in a vacuum seal. We have procured this Dong Ding Oolong rare varietal from a small artisan farm in Nantou, Taiwan.
Nicely roasted and perfectly sweet, this oolong reveals itself over several steepings. Hand crafted and grown organically in Taiwan and certified MOA.
