2nd bubble bath tea. This is so good. I can’t remember if I bought more on Black Friday weekend, but I hope I did cuz this one’s a sipdown.

I’m so glad my schedule has become so empty, cuz I have tons of things to do. First up will be moving the dining room table into the kitchen. Next my office moves from the 2nd floor to the the dining room, putting it right next to my studio. Then my former office becomes my grandson’s bedroom.
And my entire tea collection gets re-organized & documented.
Oh…& my sunroom…all of my plants need to be repotted & divided as needed, with the babies being potted as New Year gifts to my students, along with a few tea samplers too.
And my bedroom…well, I probably won’t ever get to that…
Might as well get out of the tub…I’m out of tea :(

I am just jealous that you either have a tea station next to the tub or that you have someone who will fix you tea and bring it to you in a bubble bath!

boychik

oh you are so lucky to have a sunroom. My poor plants are just everywhere, except kids room, my son have allergies. I even have them on a floor. Do you have a random collection or you spec on some?

Terri HarpLady

Nicole, I made 2 cups of tea before I got in the tub. Nobody waiting on me.
Boychik, Most are random, however, I have a group of dwarf trees: olive, kumquat, meyer lemon, & key lime. Everyone has fruit on them except the olive. I also have a potted sweet potato that produces from time to time :)

Wow that’s nice. No trees for me :(. No space and bad lighting . I’m into succulents, 75% of my plants are in 3" pots. Some bonsai I’m training. I wish I had a plant room. Btw are you on gardenweb?

Terri HarpLady

Gardenweb? I’ve never heard of it, but now I guess I’d better check it out! Thanks!

Oh you will like it a lot but I’m not there too often now. I find Steepster people are much friendlier. It’s fun until people start fighting about soil mixes and they are serious and snobish. But pics are amazing. Some collections are to die for. I was obsessed for couple of years. I still read sometimes but do not participate in a forum

Terri HarpLady

I’ll have to check it out. I’m not much for arguing with people, or worrying about their opinions, but I love pictures of gardens. I also grow veggies in my backyard :)

Bio

I’m so excited to have found this community! I’m a self-employed Harpist (acoustic & electric – Originals, Classical, Rock, Jazz, etc) & Singer/Songwriter. My days & nights revolve around teaching at home, playing gigs, gardening,& fixing awesome food to eat. My schedule is different everyday, but I just go with the flow, & I sip a lot of tea!

My love of Tea began with Herbals back in the 70’s. One of my favorites was a licorice blend from House of Hezekiah, an old tea shop in Kansas City. There was also a tea with mint, rose petals, chamomile, etc called Nuclear Casual Tea.
In the 80’s I gave up caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, (& a few illicit substances…), and brewed medicinal blends & tinctures to support 4 pregnancies (all children born at home). In the 90’s my love affair with green teas began when I discovered ‘The Republic of Tea’. Their beautiful teas & packaging inspired my original song, “TeaMind”, from my CD “Zen Breakfast”. If you’d like to hear the song for free, drop by my website.

In general, I drink my teas straight, but occasionally I add a pinch of Stevia & maybe some coconut or almond milk (I’m allergic to dairy, gluten, & various other things & avoid most sweets.)

I’ve explored a variety of teas:
Whites tend to be a little bland…sorry
Oolongs – wonderfully sensual
Roobios – I’m not a fan in general
Puehr – a fairly new direction for me
I’m not a huge fan of flavored teas, but I do make exceptions, & I’ll try just about anything once.

And Black Tea, Oh how I love thee!!
I am on a quest for the most wonderful breakfast cup! I will find you, my Love!
