I received this in an oolong sampler with no expectations. The sampler was my first foray into oolongs. I was expecting not to like them as much as green/white teas because I don’t care much for black teas. Boy was I wrong on this one. The liquor looked like butter and smelled divine. The taste was equally good.

I bow to thee, oh iron goddess of mercy.

This was my first white tea and I definitely enjoyed it. It has a delicate flavor and goes down very smoothly.

This was my very first loose leaf tea so it is somewhat special to me. I love the look, feel, and smell of the dry pearls. Watching the pearls unfold is almost as interesting as drinking the liquor. The jasmine is a bit strong especially oversteeped (or if you don’t like jasmine flavor) but weakens on further steepings.

I spent my whole life so far not drinking tea. After my first bout with loose leaf tea I have a feeling I’ll spend the rest of my life drinking it.
