Maybe I got a bad batch, but yuck!
teabags smelt horrible..but went ahead and brewed. BIG mistake, the smell almost was too much for me, but I did manage a sip before I emptied my pot apologizing all the while for making such a horrible tea in her.

OMG, this tea is wonderful. Smooth fruity black tea. Light tea with peach as the dominant flavor. Good for mulitple infusions.
When I first tasted this tea, I was not too impressed…but I am almost out of my other black tea and I thought “why not try this tea again” and I am so glad that I did.

Pleasant aroma. Earthy taste profile. The tartness of the plums shines through this amber infusion. Good for multiple infusions.

2 teabags in my Chatsford wrapped up in my cozie brewed for 3 minutes. Great delicate taste of peach, ginger is mild and is certainly an after thought.
I did get 2 infusions for the 2 bags!

drank Plum Harvest by Teavana

1 tsp PH plus 1 tsp of indian spices. Brewed 3 minutes in my Chatsford.
I still don’t have the ratio right…weak, but drinkable. You can taste the plum very slightly. I added the indian spices to even out this Teavana blend…way too sweet with just the plum harvest. Maybe I should add rock sugar to the next pot. Caffeine free, so I can drink all I want, experiment all I want tonight:) ummmm…This might be a better iced tea.

Try steeping the plum harvest for 2-3 minutes, then adding the indian spice for another 2 minutes.(You could put them both in for 5-6 minutes if the Indian Spice would hold up that long, otherwise, just add the indian spice later). I think the plum harvest must need awhile to develop because the site directions say to steep it for 5-6 minutes. That may be why it tastes weak.

First sip is a orange taste as you swallow you taste the spices. A very soothing cup of tea. I find myself reaching for this more as I let go of black teas. This herbal tea makes a rich cup…I find that most herbals are weak, but not this one:)

This is a nice light “mostly” white tea. The blueberry taste comes through, but not too strong. Some blueberry teas that I have tasted seem fake, but this one tastes more true to the essence of blueberry…if that makes any sense…the blueberries are perfectly balanced with the white and green tea base. I do not taste any other flavors, just white tea and blueberries. Lipton has done a nice job with their pyramid tea bags. Will definitely be purchasing again.

With the pyramid type tea bag, Lipton is bringing the world of fine teas to the masses. This white tea does not taste like flowers..something I look for in a white tea. The mango and peach flavors are perfectly balanced. The leaves in the bag are large…no dustings here…after 2-3 minute infusion, the once empty looking pyramid is now completely filled with leaves. The smell from this cup reminds one of a summer day. 18 pyramids in the box for $2.00 from my local WalMart. Life just got simple.

Nice flavor. I am not using this alone. I like to add this to other teas to help balance them out and add a bit of a spicey note.
Today I added this to Plum Oolong and yum is the result!

STAY CALM AND DRINK TEA

Steam rises from a cup of tea

and we are wrapped in history,

inhaling ancient times and lands,

comfort of ages in our hands.
