A good friend purchased this tea for me while she was on vacation.
First, let me say that the tea is most adorable tea tin I own:)
Second, the smell from the dry tea leaves was to die for, the aroma from the ginger and the apricot, oh my… I quickly brewed up a cup of this and tapped my foot for 2 minutes while it was brewing.
First sip, was like heaven in a cup, all soft and warm with tingles from the ginger.
Second sip/no make that a gulp, I am so glad I asked her to purchase this tea for me, I am in love.

Back to the old basic for me. Today I added agave nectar to sweeten along with milk. YUM:)
I have certainly drank this tea more than 2 times as I am almost out!
This tea is earl greyey, it pairs well with chocolate and I generally like it. Do I like enough to reorder, I think not. There is just something about this one that leaves wanting more…more of what I do not know.
The smell of fresh ripe strawberries in my cup puts a smile:) on my face.
I have not had this tea in a long while…just too darn hot here in Texas to really enjoy hot tea. As the weather starts to turn over to ole man winter, I fear my tea cabinet will begin to dwendle and this tea will be the first among the casualties to disappear from my tea cabinet. I am so thrilled that this particular blend is on the permanent list at 52 teas and thus my fears abolished.
The first sip is pure delight, I have missed drinking this one at night.
I made a pot of this tea earlier in the week and last night and today. The smoothness of this tea is refreshing. Once upon a time ago, I wrote a review of this tea on It’s all about the leaf…I reread that review last night and I still feel exactly the same way toward this tea. I will include the link here just in case you are curious:)

I am still having good luck making this tea the “british” way:)
I am glad this is available locally and the price is so reasonable, which makes this a great choice for an everyday tea!!!
mrawlins2 gave me three bags to try. OMG, they are so full of orange goodness you would swear you were eating a mandarin orange!
Tart in a good way & spicey. Makes me think about fall spices…nutmeg comes to mind. None of the bitterness you sometimes get with green teas.
This one is a keeper:)
Thank you mrawlins2 for sharing this awesome tea with me. Smooth earl grey, throw in a little chocolate (couldn’t hurt) and tada the perfect EG for me:) Wonderful choice to close out this busy day:)
Lowered the brewing time to 5 min. That was the Loooongest 5 min! The smell emitting from my cup made me look over my shoulder to see if anyone thought I was baking:)
added 1 tsp milk and 1 tsp raw sugar…OMG, I am in love with this tea. Come on Frank, move this one over to the permanent collection:)
An honest cup of tea that I really needed this morning. Milk and raw sugar take this blend over the top IMO.
The smell from my teapot is homemade cinnamon rolls:)
I added raw sugar to really send it completely over the top decadent.
Nice job 52 Teas!
Found 100 grams of this tea today and just could not resist the cute little tin. I thought to myself…get this and try to mix it with something creamy…so here goes!
In an attempt to create my own EG cream, I added one tsp of EG and I tsp of chocolate honeybush to my teapot. 3 minute infusion yields a creamy EG at a fraction of the cost.
The smell from the teapot is of chocolate with a nice backdrop of EG goodness…yum
Maybe it is just me, but this used to taste alot better than it did last night! Fishy is how I would describe ths tea…disappointment…sigh….
Perhaps it was not as fresh as it could have been when I purchased this tea or Perhaps it was my water temp:(
With my new brewing perimeters in place, I had another wonderful cup of tea this morning:) Life is good.
After months of consuming this tea, I hit the ratio of sugar & milk to tea spot on this morning:) (I owe this triumph to the you tube video I watched on making british tea…ah, the power of the internet)
Recording it here for my failing memory!
1 pyramid teabag brewed in my 2 cup Chatsford teapot
3 tsp of milk per cup
1/2 packet of Sugar in the Raw per cup
Delicious, An honest cup of tea!
I ordered the last one tonight:) “Grinning” wildly!!!!
OMG, I can’t wait to get this tea.
Still my favorite tea by a country mile:)
Smooth, not bitter and it pairs nicely with chocolate.
The balance of tea to bergamont is spot on. Holds up very well to milk and sugar. Would make a nice breakfast tea. I don’t normally think of EG for breakfast, but this one is bolder and would pair nicely with a hearty breakfast.
Kiwi Lime Ginger is what I chose to try first. Dry=I can smell fruit and ginger. The ginger is very prominent in the blend. Once the hot water hit the brew basket, I could smell the rooibos:( I am sad to say the rooibos and the ginger overpower this blend to the point that I cannot finish my sample:(
I hope the other samples are better than this one.
The strawberry in this blend is like eating fresh ripe strawberries from the vine.
Absolutely wonderful!
I wanted ice cream. I don’t need ice cream. So, I brewed up a cup of this tea. It always amazes me how hot tea tastes just like Neopolitan ice cream. BUT it does!!! The chocolate is delicate and the chocolate fix I have been needing this week. The vanilla is smooth. The strawberry is berryish. I just love this honeybush blend:)
I have not had this in a while and you know what? It was absolutely delicious today. Spicy and bold in a good kind of way. My morning cuppa…ahhhh….
Nice underlying spicyness against the black tea with subtle peach notes. To get the ginger spice you must steep for 4 minutes:)
Made a pitcher of this for ice tea.
It is sooo hot here today 105+
I could smell the nice orange notes as I brewed:)
