767 Tasting Notes
I don’t know how I still have some of this left. I have been drinking a lot of iced tea the last couple of weeks since it has been so nice here.
I think this tea might have gotten better with age because it is better than I remember. I am not getting any bitterness at all, just watermelon and honeydew flavours. Very refreshing on a nice warm day!
I ordered this a long time ago and it got pushed to the back of my tea cupboard. Well, here we go, now I’m trying it!
I steeped it for 10 minutes hoping to bring out some spectacular strawberry flavour.
The strawberry flavour isn’t near as strong as I thought it would be. I am getting creamy notes.
This tea is much better iced than hot, and I am thinking that a cold brew might bring out the strawberry flavour a bit more, I will try that next time.
I needed a gong-fu tea tasting today, so I tried it with this tea. I followed Teavivre’s parameters:7 steeps: rinse,25s,35s,45s,55s,65s,75s,85s.
I found this green oolong to be buttery, slightly vegetal but not overpowering. I found it fruity and slightly sweet, just as the description states.
Overall, I am glad that I ordered a sample of this tea and ejoyed it.
