drank Earl Grey Cream by Zen Tea

Shoot, I forgot to log this on the weekend.
I made some London fog cupcakes and infused the almond milk that I used with 3 tsp of this tea. They turned out ok, nothing I can’t live without or anything, but something a little different which is nice.
I then made a cuppa to enjoy along with my cupcake the next morning. I still love this tea!

I sipped this down tonight and sent it off with a final latte. It was delicious as usual. I really enjoyed this blend, and have found myself enjoying so many of Frank’s honeybush blends!
I did find with this particular blend that it almost needed to be made as a latte to really get the flavour. But that’s ok!

The creamy notes really produced a full mouthfeel this morning. It was not quite as floral as I remember, but it seemed that the vanilla was a little more prominent. Perhaps I remember it incorrectly. Do you know how sometimes you expect something to taste a certain way, and then it doesn’t?

I love the juiciness of this tea. It I the best with a little bit of brown crystal sugar.
It is so good iced.

Enjoyed this hot and cold so far this week. It is stunning both ways of course.

This was a sipdown this afternoon with my in laws. I love them dearly, but sometimes they are just plain crazy. Haha
Anyway, I really enjoy this tea and might have to get more to have iced in the summer. It is super finicky with brewing though.

I finished this tin off this morning with my sister in law. I will likely restock this one, but probably not until the winter because it seems like a winter tea to me. All glittery ad citrus, with that sweet vanilla at Christmas time.

Another sad sipdown.
I love the silky smooth mouthfeel of this tea. Sometimes, grape notes shine through and surprise me!
I will definitely order more of this in the future but for now I have lots of jasmine silver needle from Teavivre.
Sipping this tea down means that I am back down under 200 teas though so that’s good.

I needed a chocolate fix today, but it needed to be low calorie. And I was craving this tea because I haven’t even had it again since I restocked. This fit the bill for sure today!! Sweet and chocolatey with that little hint of coconut.

Bio

Hello,
I am a nurse. I have numerous hobbies: reading, crocheting, crafting, card making, scrapbooking, photography, shopping, and of course drinking TEA!

I started drinking loose leaf tea in Dec. 2010 when I went into a DavidsTea for the first time and have been hooked ever since! My favourite is probably white tea, but I also love black and oolong. I also like a nice relaxing rooibos or herbal in the evening. On Sundays, I like to treat myself and make a tea latte.

My favourite flavours are nutty, vanilla, chocolate, jasmine, tropical, fruity, earl grey.
My dislikes are lavender, rose, hibiscus, banana, and straight green or overly vegetal teas.

I am admittedly fairly generous in my rating scale. Most of my teas I rate at 90 and above, and would re-stock these teas.
Anything under 90 I probably wouldn’t re-stock unless I found a great price.
