I found myself craving this tea for some reason this morning. And then I went on steepster and it was one of the first notes I saw. I forget who drank it though. Mm, malty caramel this morning, a real treat. Now off to resteep.

I don’t mind the new steepster but there are a couple of things that kinda suck:
-slider bar sucks on iPad/iPhone
-as Roswell Strange mentioned, I don’t like how the ingredients are alphabetically listed rather than by most prevalent

Flavors: Caramel

This is a sample sipdown. I didn’t have this is my cupboard though so I can’t take it out.
I wanted a TGY this morning but also wanted a touch of sweetness, so I ruffled around in my sample bags from Teavivre. This one fits that bill! The honey just adds that touch I sweetness that I was looking for. I don’t think that I would drink this everyday, but it’s nice for a sweet treat.

I love these pearls. They are so silky and smooth, but not overpowering or perfumey. The base is nice and light and not bitter.

I enjoyed this tea yesterday with a dark chocolate banana muffin. Let me tell you, it was amazing that way. The malty notes are greatly pronounced and they complemented each other perfectly.
Now I need to make more muffins…haha.
But seriously, I do thoroughly enjoy this tea.

This is a sipdown of my sample.
I really enjoyed this lovely oolong. It is a little bit vegetal and I think I prefer more roasted oolongs now. However, I would never turn down a cup of this and rather enjoyed the freshness of the leaves. I might even order more samples some time so I can enjoy it again.

I made this as a latte tonight again for dessert, and as usual, it was coconutty and creamy with a tiny bit of pie crust. Delicious

I am working on some older Teavivre samples this week. This tea was a little more astringent than I remember, but it was still delicious. It was slightly smoky and fruity.
I used about 1.5 tsp, and resteeped for 3 minutes.

I found another one of these sample packages yesterday hiding at the bottom of a sample bag. That is wonderful because I was craving a good TGY yesterday.
Mmmmm, so creamy, buttery, and smooth.
The resteep at 2 minutes is even better than the first steep.

I ordered this the other day, so I figured I better try it again since I haven’t drank it for awhile. If I didn’t like it, I guess it would be too late anyway.
Well, no worries, I like it!
It is sweet and creamy, and coconutty. And sooo delicious as a latte. There is a little bit of cheesecake tang in the aftertaste.
Yum

Bio

Hello,
I am a nurse. I have numerous hobbies: reading, crocheting, crafting, card making, scrapbooking, photography, shopping, and of course drinking TEA!

I started drinking loose leaf tea in Dec. 2010 when I went into a DavidsTea for the first time and have been hooked ever since! My favourite is probably white tea, but I also love black and oolong. I also like a nice relaxing rooibos or herbal in the evening. On Sundays, I like to treat myself and make a tea latte.

My favourite flavours are nutty, vanilla, chocolate, jasmine, tropical, fruity, earl grey.
My dislikes are lavender, rose, hibiscus, banana, and straight green or overly vegetal teas.

I am admittedly fairly generous in my rating scale. Most of my teas I rate at 90 and above, and would re-stock these teas.
Anything under 90 I probably wouldn’t re-stock unless I found a great price.
