drank Neapolitan Honeybush by 52teas

One more cuppa left in this sample. I really like this honeybush blend. I think honeybush is probably my fav non-caffeine base.
I still really enjoy this one and I think I should order it if I ever get a chance. I like how each sip brings a different note! Yum

canadianadia

Mmmm…honeybush is my favorite non-caffeine base too!

Sample sipdown, but then I just realized that I also have a bag of this.

Iced, this is very good. I made it the real icing method with making it double strength and adding ice to it. The grape flavour comes out better iced than hot for sure. Still enjoying this one.

drank Cotton Candy Black Tea by 52teas

Sample sipdown! This is a really old sample from Amanda (who I don’t think is active anymore).
This is delicious, slightly sweet and smooth with just a touch of strawberry hiding in the background

Iced, I think its even better. It is a little sweeter. I have this as an SBT version, so I will have to try that sometime too.

205 °F / 96 °C 2 min, 30 sec

The SBT of this is AMAZING! Best iced tea I’ve ever had, hands down. Ugh, it’s so good I can hardly stand it. I may have ordered like a dozen of them awhile back…
You should definitely try yours asap!

Lol I will try it this weekend!

I received this tea as a sample a year ago but it still tastes delicious.
I really like this tea. White chocolate, vanilla, and spearmint meld really well together, especially with a honeybush base. I need to get more honeybush blends because I really enjoy them
I don’t usually make additions, but I felt like I deserved a treat today. Hey, it’s Saturday right! The creamer made this super delicious

drank Butterbeer by 52teas

Sample sipdown! I got this sample from Amanda a year ago but this tea still tastes awesome. I regret not ordering some of this. It’s smooth and root beer with very light buttery notes. I added a tiny bit of milk and it really ramped it up!
Cold, this is really good as well

I am the first to review this! The dry leaves are fuzzy, long, and beautiful.

This is a very light tasting tea. I am getting mostly hay and honey notes with some slight nutty notes. The mouthfeel is smooth, and almost seems silkier in the resteep. This is a nice white tea, it would be good for those days that I want something light and unflavoured. It seems that I am craving straight teas more and more as I taste higher quailty teas.

Resteeped for 4.5 minutes

drank Citrus Dream by Butiki Teas

I had this last night and it was so relaxing. It is prominently chamomile of course, but there are slight fruity notes that come through in the end. I didn’t really get any floral notes, but that’s ok. Very nice for the evening. Not my favourite tea but probably one I will keep on hand.

Preparation
Boiling 4 min, 30 sec

This one makes me sleep lol

I had an idea to turn this tea into a bath tea and it turned out marvellous! I am not a fan of lavender in tea, but in a bath, it is so relaxing. So I put Epsom salts, tea, a tiny bit of lavender essential oil, and some baking soda as a skin softener.
Ah, now that’s one glorious bath!

Terri HarpLady

That’s awesome!
I should try doing that with some of the teas I don’t really care for :)

tigress_al

Yep! I heard white tea is supposed to be good for your skin so I figured what the heck! Might as well try it

Mmmm, so delicious. I used 1 tsp of leaf for this cup.
This Keemun is so smooth with some sweet fruity notes and a tiny bit of malty smoke in the background somewhere.
It is good chilled as well.
I am going to have to compare Teavivre’s Keemuns because I am going to have to keep one of them stocked for sure!
Which level of Keemun is most preferred by you Steepsterites!?

I also love their Organic Superfine Keemun Fragrant but it’s so much more fruity and chocolaty, it’s hard to compare. I just keep both cause they each serve their purpose!

Terri HarpLady

I have only tried the Orb. Superfine Fragrant Keemun. I need to try this one too. :)

Thank you so much to Angel at Teavivre for these free samples!

This tea is a very green oolong with lingering buttery notes of fresh spinach and greens. It tastes very fresh and sophisticated.

The second steep at 2 minutes was my favourite steep, with a little bit less vegetal notes and a little more sweetness.

The third steep at 3 minutes is still delicious.

I think I prefer the Anxi TGY or the Monkey King but I would certainly not turn down a cup of this and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Bio

Hello,
I am a nurse. I have numerous hobbies: reading, crocheting, crafting, card making, scrapbooking, photography, shopping, and of course drinking TEA!

I started drinking loose leaf tea in Dec. 2010 when I went into a DavidsTea for the first time and have been hooked ever since! My favourite is probably white tea, but I also love black and oolong. I also like a nice relaxing rooibos or herbal in the evening. On Sundays, I like to treat myself and make a tea latte.

My favourite flavours are nutty, vanilla, chocolate, jasmine, tropical, fruity, earl grey.
My dislikes are lavender, rose, hibiscus, banana, and straight green or overly vegetal teas.

I am admittedly fairly generous in my rating scale. Most of my teas I rate at 90 and above, and would re-stock these teas.
Anything under 90 I probably wouldn’t re-stock unless I found a great price.
