I compared this tea yesterday to the grade 1 version of Keemun.
I find this tea to be maltier (if that’s even a word) and smoother than the grade 1 version. I think it is a little bit less sweet. I do get more notes of the peppercorn.

Hmmm, I am not sure which one I like better because I like each one for a little different reasons.

I sipped this down yesterday as a comparison to the premium keemun to determine which one I would like to stock in my cupboard. Needless to say, it didn’t go according to plan because I like them both for different reasons. I drank them side by side.

In my opinion, this one is a bit fruitier, with more prominent cocoa notes. It is maybe a little bit sweeter than the premium version, but not quite as smooth. It is definitely great for everyday drinking.

This is a sample sipdown. Today, it seems a little bit less sweet. I getting some mushroom, earthy notes. Maybe I have been hoarding it for too long. I am so guilty of hoarding oolongs forever.
I am glad that I purchased this sample.

Finally sipping down this tea from last September.
I found that you definitely have to steep this herbal for a long time to get real flavour. I am not too sad that it’s gone, but it was ok. Not bad for a banana tea.

DT seem to have a lot of good herbals, definitely flavours I could get into.

I have been scared of Genmaicha, but this is SO GOOD!!
There was no need to be scared. This is deep and rich, chocolate, with that lovely malt. I really enjoy that toasty flavour from the rice.

This tastes really “homey” to me if that makes sense. I really enjoy this, but next time, I think I would steep in a tea bag rather than my steeper because I am still tasting it today.

This is a really nice citrus vanilla herbal selection. I need to have more herbals in my tea collection!

I have been hoarding this tea but it is really time to sip it down. I really enjoyed this oolong. I love the fresh buttery, floral taste.
I would also like to try the autumn variety.

This was my first Teavana experience, while I was at the West Edmonton mall for a girls trip! I mixed this with a little bit of white pearls because I still wanted just a tad bit of caffeine but not too much, so I guess this isn’t a very accurate note on this tea.
I thought this herbal was ok, a nice blend of spices, but still a little bit chocolate too for sweetness. I don’t think I would purchase it though.

This was a great cuppa to go on my shopping adventures!

Hello,
I am a nurse, I love to do so many things: reading, card making, scrapbooking, photography, playing with my nieces, shopping, and of course TEA!

I only started drinking loose leaf tea in Dec. 2010 when I had a DavidsTea for the first time and have been obsessed ever since! My favourite is probably white but I have black every morning to wake me up! I enjoy most flavours out there! My favourite flavours are nutty, fruity, chocolate, jasmine, tropical.

Most of my teas I rate at 90 and above, and would re-stock these teas.
Anything under 90 I probably wouldn’t re-stock unless I found a great price.
