This was a lovely green tea, the base was fairly mellow which I enjoy. It was fruity with peach and cantaloupe being in the forefront. Now that I read the description, I guess I got some passion fruit but no strawberry. This was one delicious cuppa and I imagine it would be great cold brewed as well. I would be scared that the base would be more pronounced in a cold brew though.
Thank you Sil for this sample.
I have never had a French tea before, so I was excited to try it.
This is a beauty of a tea, if not a touch delicate. The cocoa and cherry are barely there but sure make for a smooth cuppa. The base is nice, a little on the delicate side as well, but very tasty!
Like Sil has mentioned in her notes, I might try a longer infusion next time to see if the flavours come out a little more.
Thank you for the sample Sil
I can see why this is called holiday blend. It is bready/malty/ and a little fruity. Cocoa notes are present for me way in the background. This would be good to drink during the holidays wrapped up in a warm blanket reading a book. It’s just that cozy…..or should I say damn fine???!!!
I tamed down the tiger a little bit and it was delicious this time! There is less astringency and it is a little less bold, which is to my liking. The malt makes this a smooth cuppa. And there is certainly a caffeine punch to this tea! Great for the morning!
Thanks again for the sample Sil!
I am so behind in my tasting notes. I have been enjoying lots of tea lately, I just haven’t had the opportunity to sit and log!
Thank you Evol Ving Ness for the sample!
Green tea is my least favourite tea, but this was fairly decent. Not something I would order, but I certainly would not refuse a cup if offered! I’m glad I got to try it.
