Irish Breakfast from T
100

I love this tea so much. One of my favourite black teas ever. So rich and creamy. It’s suggested to drink with milk and sugar but I love it plain or with a high quality cream honey. The tea comes in cute little rolled-up balls and smells great. Don’t let it steep too long otherwise it’ll taste very bitter.

Organic Assam from T
94

T is one of the best quality tea brands I’ve tasted. This is the best organic assam I’ve come by. Very full and flavourful.

Pumpkin Chai from DAVIDsTEA
74

Yummm… Tastes like autumn. Not so much like chai, but I love pumpkin pie so appreciated the subtle pumpkin flavour.

Coco Chai Rooibos from DAVIDsTEA
77

I love coconut, cardamom and other chai spices. A good tea if you have some high quality honey to add. Not sure if they’re still doing it, but in autumn one year, they were making chai lattes out of this one. It makes a pretty decent chai latte.

Pure Chai from DAVIDsTEA

This one is pretty bad, unfortunately. Lots of cinnamon in this powdery black tea, little of anything else. I forced myself to drink it but ended up throwing it out in the end.

Oh Canada from DAVIDsTEA

This is a fun, caffeine-free tea. Tastes and smells like fall. The smell is very distinct and brings back memories.

North African Mint (organic) from DAVIDsTEA
67

I can see why this tea is one of David’s bestsellers. It’s unique. I like the combination of cardamom, clove and other spices. I’m not huge on mint teas but this one I make an exception for.

Vanilla Oolong from DAVIDsTEA
50

The oolong base tastes pretty substandard in this one, and the vanilla smell really takes over. It’s an interesting flavour if you’re into flavoured teas. I’m not a huge fan but it’s drinkable.

Kenya Silverback from DAVIDsTEA
77

Kenyan teas have an earthier taste to them than the same type of tea from Asia, and are more affordable. This white tea is a great introduction into white tea if you’re just trying to sample without paying the full white tea price tag. It’s a good one.

Some Velvet Morning from DAVIDsTEA
80

The first DavidsTea I ever bought. Smells wonderful. The aroma is pungent, like oranges and trees. Must be the schizandra berries and tangerine/citrus. Tastes pretty good too, but I like this one for inhaling while drinking. This one will always have a special place in my heart. One of my favourites.

Kenyan Tinderet from DAVIDsTEA

I love the little balls of tea. Visually, this tea is great. It’s also a good standard black tea for those who enjoy orange pekoe and are looking for something a bit more refined.

Organic Hojicha from Mighty Leaf Tea
100

This delicious green tea is the first one I tried from Mighty Leaf and is the one responsible for me placing a $110 order. I’ve tried to find a hojicha equivalent to Mighty Leaf’s to no avail. Hojicha is has a nutty, maybe even woodsy, aroma. Great to drink plain. I boil the water and let it sit for a minute or so before steeping. The bag says 2 to 3 minutes so I go in between and it’s great. I normally don’t like green tea but this one is amazing and has made me a loyal Mighty Leaf customer.

Quangzhou Milk Oolong from DAVIDsTEA
100

This is my favourite tea at DavidsTea. It’s pretty expensive but it’s the best oolong I’ve tried. It’s milkier than most teas and has this aroma that’s hard to describe. If you’re looking for a high quality oolong, this is the one. I’ve gone to many tea shops in search of good teas, and though I find some great greens and blacks in other parts, Quangzhou Milk Oolong from DavidsTea remains my favourite oolong.
