468 Tasting Notes
Wow tea finally added after many many tries, no photo still but hey at least the tea is in here. So i already blogged this so I’m going to copy paste my favorite part of the post here for you guys and a link so ya can see the rest if ya want, Sorry no photo on here BUT you cans ee some on my blog :)
When I tasted the tea this morning it blew me away, it was just awesome good and extremely refreshing, the tastes that I got before of green beans or peas was omg so delicious and it had natural sweetness with a slight “smokey?” hint to it and honestly I still can’t find the words to describe the taste or experience of it because I just don’t know how to put it in words, sorry, I am going to attempt to describe the best I can and maybe somebody knows what I’m talking about, this may sound really weird but when I was young we used to eat corn from the garden straight off of the stalk and munch on raw green beans and other things, the taste of these foods like that was very fresh and delicious to me and I enjoyed it very much WELL for some reason THAT is what comes to mind when drinking this tea cold brewed, I’m NOT saying that this one taste just like eating these things BUT there is “something” about the taste and flavor of this Tea that brings about the memory of eating such tasty things like that straight form the garden. Vegetal?? maybe it was vegetal to me but not like some other green teas.
I felt like having something sweet and i remembered that i had a few yummy teas from Davids, This red velvet is actually better this time than it was the first time i tried it, its like creamy chocolate goodness with a touch of tea lol, it does require some sweetener to taste super yummy tho.
Good Tea :)
This is a most delicious Raw Puerh, I just got a sample and Now i want to get an entire cake.
I don’t often use the word complex to describe a tea but in this case it’s the best word, This Tea has a slightly complex and wonderful flavor profile to me.
The armoa of this one when dry is slightly vegetal raw puerh type aroma and the taste of this one starts of with pleasant bitter and slightly sweet vegetal notes on the first few steeping while at around the 3rd and 4th steeps it develops first some wonderful sweet Roasted Oolong characteristics then I get earthy woodsy notes like sandalwood and forest I think to myself Wow now it’s like a Shu :)
The aroma of the steeped leafe is quite earthy and much like a shu/ripe puerh aroma, I got about 3 more steeps of delicious slightly sweet but bitter, woodsy, earthy goodness, Super Nice Puerh, I think anybody could enjoy this one.
100 points for this one for sure, I’m seriously gonna get a whole cake now :)
Yummy, very tastey tea :)
It has very bold almost white tea flavor to me that develops more into young raw puerh flavors after a few steepings with a slight spicy almost peppery bite to it while still remaining slightly sweet and vegetal.
See my blog post here with photos :)
