25 Tasting Notes
The first thing I noticed was the wonderful smell I got when I opened this pack. It smells divinely! However I wouldn’t really call this a chamomile citrus, it’s more like a citrus chamomile. While it is relaxing, it’s also sort of refreshing too. This strikes me as a tea that would be good to drink around cold and flu season. It seems like it would be soothing for your throat.
I’d really have to sip this one again to see how I really feel. I think.
Tried a resteeping with the same teabag from yesterday. I’ve never actually resteeped a tea before. This isn’t bad. It still has the same, nice smooth flavor/body and taste. I also used vanilla cream and a little less sugar than yesterday. Am considering buying this tea for mornings like this. I think I’d like to have a morning tea at breakfast. I can see this becoming a nice ritual, if not at least for weekends as sometimes my weekday mornings are a bit crazy.
Basic breakfast blend that’s not too bitter. I’ve tried other breakfast teas and have been put off because they always seem way too bitter. I tried it plain first to check out how bitter it truly was, and then I added a splash of vanilla cream with a hint of sugar. Not bad. This was a sample with my ML order. I might consider buying some of this to keep on hand for rough mornings.
This tea smells sort of like a butter toffee after done steeping. To me, this doesn’t really taste like chocolate. It tastes like mint with a taste of something else that I can’t quite put my finger on yet. It’s plenty sweet without having to add any sugar or anything. I just wish there was a nice hint of chocolate in it.
