25 Tasting Notes
Second try from the Steepster Select box.
This is my first try at Darjeeling. It’s not bad, but it’s still a tad more bitter than I would have liked. This could be my fault however as I think I miscalculated when I began steeping! I will try this one again though.
Earthy tasting. Added nothing more than honey to help sweeten but I don’t think I added enough. Not really a excellent tasting tea but can be made to taste better.
Light, slightly sweet flavor. I’ve only drank one other white tea before so I’m still finding my ground with these teas. Not bad, but not earth shattering either. May take a few times to see how I like it.
A pretty good tea for the price. I was a bit apprehensive about trying this tea this morning but I needed a boost. I was able to drink it plain. The tea didn’t have a bitter taste to it at all.
Soft, fruity flavor. I think nectar prescribes this perfectly. The smell is divine though. The hint of hibiscus is quite the nice touch.
The first thing I noticed was the wonderful smell I got when I opened this pack. It smells divinely! However I wouldn’t really call this a chamomile citrus, it’s more like a citrus chamomile. While it is relaxing, it’s also sort of refreshing too. This strikes me as a tea that would be good to drink around cold and flu season. It seems like it would be soothing for your throat.
I’d really have to sip this one again to see how I really feel. I think.
Tried a resteeping with the same teabag from yesterday. I’ve never actually resteeped a tea before. This isn’t bad. It still has the same, nice smooth flavor/body and taste. I also used vanilla cream and a little less sugar than yesterday. Am considering buying this tea for mornings like this. I think I’d like to have a morning tea at breakfast. I can see this becoming a nice ritual, if not at least for weekends as sometimes my weekday mornings are a bit crazy.
Basic breakfast blend that’s not too bitter. I’ve tried other breakfast teas and have been put off because they always seem way too bitter. I tried it plain first to check out how bitter it truly was, and then I added a splash of vanilla cream with a hint of sugar. Not bad. This was a sample with my ML order. I might consider buying some of this to keep on hand for rough mornings.
Smells wonderful. Very smooth body and a nice, creamy truffle taste. I drank this w/out adding any extra sweetener. I really didn’t feel like it needed anything extra.
This tea smells sort of like a butter toffee after done steeping. To me, this doesn’t really taste like chocolate. It tastes like mint with a taste of something else that I can’t quite put my finger on yet. It’s plenty sweet without having to add any sugar or anything. I just wish there was a nice hint of chocolate in it.
