A really good EG, specially with the fresh bergamot smell sneaking out of the tin, once you brew it, it’s not over empowering, just has this refreshing after taste. The black tea base is bold, like a nice wake up slap in the morning.

Suspect notes of peach, a little artificial flave over empowers the whole brew. Didn’t see it coming

I tried it once. I felt the taste of the black tea so weak, I could not taste any trace of bergamot. I have to brew it a couple of times more just to make sure.

I agree that this might not be an EG but the experiment is fantastic, although sometimes I’m an orthodox with EG. It’s woody, straight up without any sweetener or milk. Perfect amount of bergamot.

Malty, a bit of woody & earthy. Really nice with or without milk & honey. Good morning tea.

A little too bergamoty, at least natural bergamoty, but I quite enjoyed the strog black tea base.

Overall it tastes like a fine cup of black tea, I feel left out of these reviews mostly because you highlight the wonderful bergamot flave which was abscent on mine :( Just an after taste of it which quickly fades. I like my bergamot natural & well balanced, I’ll keep brewing it & see what happens.

I like it! Nice bold black tea, nice bergamot although it’s weird to brew it only for 3 minutes. I usually brew my E.G.‘s from 5-8 mins. Just can’t get enough of EG so in love!

It’s amazing! Great taste, fresh spices, the balance between the spices are excellent. Used 2 tsp, steeped in half water, added the other half of boiled whole milk {served lifting the milk way up while serving it in an attempt to froth the milk as a latte} & added honey. Such a treat, made my day. I sometimes worry about the strength of the clove & peppercorns but they blend perfectly.

I’m starting to worry. I ordered a 5 oz bag of this EG, but there’s something different. Either it’s the new cup I’m using which seems a bit larger than a 4-5 oz & need to readjust the amount of tea per oz of water or… well, the bergamot smells different than the sampler I got before, like a faded smell, so far the tea tastes like a decaf which I certainly dislike. This is my second brew of the day, I’ll try again tomorrow, makes me sad that the sampler was a hit & now that I got my cute canister filled with this EG it just doesn’t tastes right.

I drink mostly Earl Grey. Enjoy Irish Breakfast, Darjeeling, Assam, Ceylon. Love Masala Chai, Jasmine & some greens from Japan. I like blends as long as they taste natural & are well balanced. I’m new to Oolong & Pu-erh which so far taste fantastic. Some infusions that I make on a regular basis are orange tree leaves, lemongrass, guava, apple-cinnamon-cardamom, etc.

Casi siempre bebo Earl Grey.
