One thing I’ve learned in my quest for delicious teas is that you have to be really generous with that teaspoon. This EG is one of my faves, although I’m a EG “conservative” the lavender adds a slightly different zesty twist to it.

this is a quite unique tea, it’s a nice EG but with a smokey punch, perfect if you want a pick me up or a nice way to kick start your day. Like the Earl Grey from Tealosophy, the flavor has a nice balance from the strength of the Assam tea & the bergamot when suddenly the smokey flavor brings a nice woody & earthy taste to it. A nice variation for a EG conservative like me :)

I got this EG from my Earl Grey Galore from LiberTEAS. The smell of bergamot is quite strong, smells natural as far as my nostrils told me. First I drank it straight to perceive the taste of the black tea, was ok, not as bold as I usually like but quite nice. Then I added a tbsp of honey & was yummy. The bergamot flavor {not as strong as the scent} remains ‘til the end of the last sip. I’ll definitely buy it.

A really good EG, specially with the fresh bergamot smell sneaking out of the tin, once you brew it, it’s not over empowering, just has this refreshing after taste. The black tea base is bold, like a nice wake up slap in the morning.

Suspect notes of peach, a little artificial flave over empowers the whole brew. Didn’t see it coming

I tried it once. I felt the taste of the black tea so weak, I could not taste any trace of bergamot. I have to brew it a couple of times more just to make sure.

I agree that this might not be an EG but the experiment is fantastic, although sometimes I’m an orthodox with EG. It’s woody, straight up without any sweetener or milk. Perfect amount of bergamot.

Malty, a bit of woody & earthy. Really nice with or without milk & honey. Good morning tea.

A little too bergamoty, at least natural bergamoty, but I quite enjoyed the strog black tea base.

Overall it tastes like a fine cup of black tea, I feel left out of these reviews mostly because you highlight the wonderful bergamot flave which was abscent on mine :( Just an after taste of it which quickly fades. I like my bergamot natural & well balanced, I’ll keep brewing it & see what happens.

I drink mostly Earl Grey. Enjoy Irish Breakfast, Darjeeling, Assam, Ceylon. Love Masala Chai, Jasmine & some greens from Japan. I like blends as long as they taste natural & are well balanced. I’m new to Oolong & Pu-erh which so far taste fantastic. Some infusions that I make on a regular basis are orange tree leaves, lemongrass, guava, apple-cinnamon-cardamom, etc.

Casi siempre bebo Earl Grey.
