I have an affinity for sencha. Like, really, I live on the stuff, and I’m okay with that.

I’m the type of person who is hopelessly addicted to mint. I buy metromint water by the case, and often, instead of using traditional filtered water for my sencha, I make it in chocolatemint or lemonmint water instead. It’s so lovely! I am still waiting for metromint to come out with a vanillamint water (but that isn’t the point here!). The point is that this is another winner from 52teas, and vanilla + mint will ALWAYS be a winner in my book. Vanilla + mint + sencha is just so freaking glorious. It’s smooth, not overpowering, and even after I forgot about it while it was steeping because I was hunting for some mintwater, it didn’t end up bitter or awful (Which is bizarre, because sencha can be very sensitive!). I’m not complaining!!!

So much love, 52Teas, so much love…

My first review on here, for my favorite tea ever! I have a massive collection of over 100 loose leaf teas, and I have NEVER had something so wonderful. I’m in love. I need to order another pack stat! Frank, you really are so wonderful. <3

I find myself craving this after every class, and because my tea tumbler is missing, I come back to my room in between classes to have a cup of this. I find that even after four cups, I’m not jittery or caffeine-d out, which is extremely nice to have.

I love lemon/lime anything, and lemon/lime meringue pie happens to be my favorite dessert! When Frank posted that even the taste of the buttery crust and the taste of the meringue were represented in this tea, I didn’t believe it, but seriously, it’s as if you’re drinking the pie itself!

While it does not need any sweetener, I do enjoy putting a bit of honey on the rim of my mug. It makes it a little bit more perfect — I didn’t think that was possible! :)
