bananas in tea? not my favourite. as fruit flavoured water, well, it just is.
17 Tasting Notes
it really does taste like a warmed over fruit juice, a tart one.
i didn’t like it so much the first time i had it but NPY likes it!
nice tea. simple but delightfully nutty.
i’m so glad to see that steeped and infused is on this site. i looked at my strawberry white loose tea from steep and infused and they were more whole in shape than from david’s tea. consequently, i thought it was more flavourful.
chai covers the rooibos taste and that is okay with me (although i’m not so unfond of rooibos as i used to be)
so i recently received an email from davids tea reminding me that easter is around the corner and they have some chocolate flavour tea. of them, read my lips is the chocolatiest and other great claims. it smells great, looks great, and tastes good even unsweetened.
can’t rate this tea because i didn’t have it alone. teavana gave me a sample with it blended with blueberry bliss, sweetened and then chilled. it was so good!
couldn’t find anything i liked about it and it marginally tasted like chemicals. i just don’t like the three flavours.
it was good, of course. very pure tasting.
tasted like kool-aid. of course, the sample made at teavana was sweetened.
way to go on me that i waited that long before drinking this tea. let’s see, that trip to london was in ‘05 and i started drinking this in ’12 … no harm done. it’s still good.
unmistakeable coconut scent but it’s really pale in the tea.
mint tea is definitely growing on me … will i love it one day? peppermint is still too strong but this was pretty light.
Maybe yes – pleasantly cheeky name with the word “forever” in it. @whoisnpy commented it tastes like a cinnamon bun!
mostly oolong and pu’erh. sounds fancy but the latter is old school tea that’s more bitter-tasting. drank it lots but i’m not skinny!
it’s a detox tea kind of morning.
