Tahitian Limeade from Teavana

This tea smells like a sunrise looks. Fruity teas aren’t even my favorite, this one just has all sorts of awesome things going on. I get so engrossed just shaking the tin and wafting the aroma around, haha! Anyway, the citrus makes me energized in the morning, so I guess I will be relying on this next semester before 8:30 chemistry class. :) Brewed this by the directions given, turned out perfect.

British Breakfast from The Republic of Tea

Brews extremely fast for me, no more that two minutes for the first steep, and then it can be used again. :) Usually I prefer loose tea, but this British Breakfast blend was my savior for convenience when I was sick. I drank, and I’m not exaggerating, 20 cups of this when I was at my sickest. That’s probably not so good…but it did wonders for my sore throat.

Perfectly smooth with honey.

Rooibos Chai from Teavana

The cinnamon in this tea wakes you up! One of my favorite morning teas. This is what I use to persuade die hard coffee drinkers that tea can be just as energizing! Doesn’t even need anything added to it, the spices do everything for you.

Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls from Teavana

The aroma is divine and flavor very subtle. I can easily drink several cups of this. Perfect with a book.

Profile

Bio

Hello! My name is Sara, I’m a student at one of the million colleges in the Boston, MA area, but I’m from around Philadelphia, PA. I drink tea daily and it’s become almost a ritual for me, a moment of tranquility in my crowded, noisy, crazy residence hall.

I tend to update this sporadically…suffice it to say that I drink many more cups a day than I remember to add to my tealog, haha! You could say that a teacup is a permanent fixture in my hand/on my desk. :) In the coffee vs. tea showdown, I’m for tea, although I do enjoy coffee occasionally!

I love the fact that Steepster even exists, whenever I think about it it makes me smile. About my tea habits: Sometimes I add a drop of honey or milk to my tea, depending on the type, but usually I’ll just drink it straight. I always go for loose tea over bagged, but if I’m rushed or it is a strange and unique flavor I will definitely give it a try.

I don’t have a particular favorite kind of tea; They’re all so good! I’ve tried many types, although I’ve never had an earl grey that I’ve liked…but that just means I should try more, right? :) The kinds I drink most regularly are green, white, and rooibos.
