This is my first assam tea and one of the few unflavored black teas I have tried. It is very smooth and naturally sweet. My friend added a touch of sugar which made the tea far less enjoyable. Will definitely be trying more assams in the future.
103 Tasting Notes
This is one of my favorite teas from Darlene’s Teaport. The flavor pops out and just works. The coconut flavor is very light if there at all but it is unneeded.
Super short review as I’m pressed on time but agree with others that the vanilla in this is just not so present. But the tea is fair and the spices definitely cover the rooibos taste. That said, the tea remains a bit bland for my tastes. Next time I’ll try brewing longer – maybe that will solve the problem.

Absolutely love this tea. Was probably my first loose leaf tea and definitely keep going back to it. Darlene’s teaport seems to be one of the most economical of loose leaf tea.

I love anise, cayanne, and ginger so am big fan of this tea. Wish there were other better blends similar to this product but is my favorite non loose tea.
