Not for me. I like a good peat smoke scotch so I was thinking I’d like this tea but no go. Very strong smoked smell that is hard to get past. The actual tea tasted ok but I can’t get past the smell to enjoy it.

24 days of tea #2. Overall I like this tea but I expected more of a chocolate taste but I like the raspberry kind of sweetness. I’ve figured out what the “rocket” part of the name is about, wow this tea has some stimulant hit. I got all my housework done after two cups of this :D.

This is tea #1 in my 24 days of tea advent calendar. I’m normally a black tea drinker so I looked forward to this one. I wasn’t disappointed. It smells great and tastes good. It’s a little sweet for me but I like that it is low caffeine which will make it a good evening tea.

I forgot to make some tea this morning and it’s “roll up the rim” time so I thought I’d give it a shot. Not super impressed, to me it tastes like a cup of Red Rose. Not a lot of flavour and fairly bitter. The smell turns me off, it doesn’t smell like good tea, it kind of smells like feet. Maybe I just got a bad one.

My first oolong and it was very different than I expected. I figured it would be closer to a black tea but it was more like a green tea. A nice flowery aroma and a sweet taste that is very relaxing. Near the end of the cup it got a bit of a tangy grassy taste but never bitter. Definitely be back for more.

Meh. It wasn’t what I was expecting. It tasted like I brewed up some fresh grass clippings.

I find I like Chinese greens better than Japanese and this one didn’t disappoint. Surprisingly little “green tea” flavour and with an interesting finish. I’d almost call it a little bit of a spiciness as it’s swallowed. First cup I steeped for 3:30 and it was ok, second I steeped for 5 minutes. 5 minutes still had the spicy flavour and added more of the “green tea” flavour without adding much bitterness.

My go to morning tea. Good malty/earthy flavor with a little bitterness and a nice caffeine pick me up.

I’ve been a long time casual tea drinker but I don’t like dealing with infusers, bags, drippy things and factory flavours. I bought a “The Steeper” from David’s Tea and I’ve moved into daily from casual. I’m trying to move outside my black tea box but it’s a long road.
