I ended up with a tin of Paris sachets after my sister bought it and didn’t like it. I finished a four ounce tin of Decaf Paris in a shocking amount of time earlier this year, so I figured I could easily take care of her problem. Paris is good, but I won’t order it again. It has too much black currant for my liking. Fruity black teas just aren’t my thing. So this is tasty, but I’ll be going for decaf earl grey in the future. Best enjoyed as a latte!

This one smells unpleasant, so I kind of procrastinated taking the first sip. At first I was unsure…but I think…I like this? It tastes like an orange-filled chocolate, and I feel like they made that fake orange flavor pretty accurate. The chocolate isn’t very strong. It’s more like they’re placing you with the idea of chocolate than actually giving you any. I bought this to give my dad since orange chocolate is his favorite combo. I wouldn’t buy this again for myself, but I hope he likes it! Regardless, this would taste better with a black or herbal base. I kind of like the earthiness, but I don’t need it.

This tea tastes mostly like apple, which was actually a relief since I’ve had a more accurate turmeric tea in the past that was pretty unpleasant. I’m not a huge fan of apple teas, but this one did taste pretty good. I wouldn’t order this again, and I’m not even sure why I ordered it in the first place. I’ll refrain from rating this tea since I’m not its intended audience.

This unique tea was sent to me by Mastress Alita. It’s definitely strong! I first tried it with just sugar, and got a strong taste of rooibos followed by black tea with a whisper of butterscotch underneath. I immediately added milk, and wow that really brought it all together. It tastes caramely and butterscotchy, and you can’t taste the rooibos anymore, it just supports the other flavors. There’s no bitterness. This one is very, very good. I would drink this all the time if I had more!

This is a tea I do not understand. Everyone seems to love it, but every time I get it in a sampler, I’m always so bored by it. It smells nice when brewing, but the flavor is so weak, even though I use way less water than usual and steep for longer. Without sugar, it tastes like nothing. With sugar, it tastes…I guess lightly nutty? I’ve given it several tries, so I’m giving up!

This is one from my swap with Mastress Alita. I’ll never pass up an almond tea! Without additions, it tasted pretty plain, but with milk and sugar, it’s quite tasty! I really can see the cookie qualities! The almond is very faint, but the combination of ingredients is like a tasty bready pastry.

Got this one in my mystery box. It’s nice that they give such large servings in the box, but I ended up giving almost all of this to my dad since it just wasn’t my thing. It tastes like mostly nothing. You can add extra marshmallows and a ton of leaf to coax some flavor out, but it’s very bland. Like drinking steeped breakfast cereal or something. My dad says it tastes mildly like chocolate but also a lot like nothing.

Hmm this tea reminds me a lot of one I tried in a swap a few months ago called something like empress white. This is a fruity flavor I enjoy, but I wouldn’t call it pear necessarily. I think DavidsTea has the best pear tea I’ve tried. This one is light and free from bitterness. It’s tasty, but I’m glad I only ordered the sample size! It’s not this tea’s fault, though. I just prefer a bolder flavor than most white teas can give.

Almond is my favorite tea flavor, so I had to include this one in my cart. It tastes like all the other almond black teas I’ve sampled, which is great! The flavor is like marzipan, but not in an over the top way, like with some teas. There’s a tiny bit of bitterness, but that’s probably my fault. I’ll be more careful on my next cup.
