806 Tasting Notes
I tried this cold from David’s Tea and it’s tart and berry tasting. I couldn’t really pick up on anything specific and it wasn’t terrible.. it’s just not something I would order again. I do have a sample of it from the sale bin though and I will try it at home because maybe I just don’t like the way it was made.

Today is a mate day. At least if I want to stay awake that is. I cycled a few extra kms just to get my Harte Trail badge in Ingress. Totally worth it but I didn’t get to bed until a bit after midnight. Then the thunderstorm woke me up this morning (stupid loud thunder!) so a nice pumpkinny mate is just what I need.

I still thank the tea god that this made the permanent collection. I remember when I first tried it, it was only seasonal and a pain to get. This is a very nice pumpkin tea.

Is it really? Either way, it’s nice to see that you can pretty much count on them on offering it. It’s so annoying when companies make something amazing but make it LE. LUSH is famous for that. Like damnit, just make sure if it’s that popular already.
well you can get pumpkin chai anytime now. But when it first came out it LE. Yeah but LUSH isn’t the only company that does that. Just when I fall in love with something it disappears. Vanilla Chai frapps at McDonald’s for instance as they are seasonal. (tastes like Starbucks Vanilla bean frap but cheaper)
Ah, guess I haven’t noticed it on the tea wall. Awesome then! Oh cool, I didn’t even know that McDonald’s made that. Do they just make it around the holidays?
Oh yeah, for sure many other companies do it. I just especially can’t stand when companies do it when it leads to this craze where people are selling something for 10-15x the price on eBay, especially when that product can easily be remade.
Oh snap, i see it’s on their site. Maybe I’ll try that tomorrow before it goes away. You are such a bad influence! Haha
Made my final cup of this one for the ride to work. I made this one cold and it definitely changed things a bit. The flavour is less intense then when you make it hot. It’s still there it’s just not smacking you in the head anymore which is actually nice. While I won’t buy more because I’m tired of it, I still recommend it for people who love cotton candy.

Last tea of the night for me. I’m drinking it to celebrate the end of my shift. Of course I’ll probably hack a few portals on the way home (Ingress) but I won’t do any missions until my day off. I’m tasting maple cupcake. I think I may have a maple addiction… (knows full well about her maple addiction)
Flavors: Cake, Maple

Thank goodness I was running a stop watch and not a timer or I wouldn’t know how long this steeped. I got a bit busy and before I knew it, it was 5:43 minutes. It didn’t suffer for it though which is good. Right now this is making me think of pancakes once you mix it with your jam and syrup. I think maybe I should eat more before I cycle to work.
Preparation
So I managed to squeeze 15km in before work this morning on my bike in 28C (80F) weather. I was feeling a bit dehydrated once I got to work. So I brewed up a cup of this. It tastes just like cotton candy and I’m almost finished the bag. I won’t be sad to see it go as I prefer other blends (lemon pound cake I’m staring at you) but it was nice to have for a bit.

I also bought a matcha maker in Navy Blue so I can make matcha a bit quicker on the go. :D
I wish this one would go on sale eventually. Hope you enjoy your matcha maker!
