Bought this a while ago from Streetshop88 and just now got around to trying it. It is pretty good overall. It had a fair amount of fermentation flavor that began to clear by the fourth steep. There was little bitterness to it. A nice sweet flavor developed. I would say a fruity flavor developed. This tea is a good value at under $30 too. Claims to be spring tea. There is no way to know if this is true but I tend to believe them. It’s not an outlandish claim although ripe is less likely to be spring tea.

I steeped this eight times in a 180ml teapot with 11.3g leaf and boiling water. I gave it a 10 second rinse and a 10 minute rest. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, and 30 sec. The tea was not finished at eight steeps but I figure I’ve had enough caffeine for today. It would have certainly gone twelve steeps or more.

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
