Used what I thought was quite a lot of this, 6 tsp of leaf. It was not enough. Next time I’ll use more like twelve tsp of leaf. This came out a little weak. Still it’s tasty. Very clear in color but flavorful. It has an earthy note to it, I don’t know how else to describe it. Not the sort of earthy you think of when you talk ripe puerh mind you. This is good.

I brewed 6 tsp leaf in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Grivity steeper with boiling water for 8 minutes.

Preparation
Boiling 8 min or more 6 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
