The lemon and ginseng flavors are muted, almost to the point of being bland. I steeped the bag for the recommended time, but perhaps I should add a minute or two more. Overall, I’m slightly disappointed.

Really good for a bagged chai. The honey notes are excellent and you don’t need much sugar to bring the honey flavor out. I add just a splash of milk.

The Rose flavors and aroma were too overpowering for me. I let the tea steep for about five minutes as I generally enjoy a stronger cup, but perhaps it was too long as the tea ended up tasting artificial and much too strongly of roses.

The maple comes through this tea in a big way both in aroma and flavor. The smokiness of the bacon paired with the maple flavor makes this a perfect breakfast tea. Yes, it’s a little unusual, but you won’t be disappointed.

I definitely like this tea better cool/cold than hot. I just think the flavors come through so much better and it’s truly refreshing. It has that delicious key lime scent and it has a really smooth taste with just the hint of lime.

I have been drinking this like crazy now that the cold weather is finally here. Adding just a touch of honey and a splash of milk makes this a nice dessert tea or a sweet treat in the morning ( healthier and much less expensive than a coffee drink from a chain!). The pumpkin taste is subtle but still delicious!

I received a sample of this tea and was really disappointed. The smoky smell was overwhelming right out of the package and didn’t dissipate when hot water was added to the bag. Rather than being a pleasant smoky smell, it conjured up mental images of bar-b-cue in tea form. I just wasn’t happy with it.

Beef jerky! YES! That’s a VERY accurate way of describing this particular tea!

drank Orange Brulee by Della Terra Teas

The first sniff reminded me of an Orange Julius or an orangecicle, which is a WONDERFUL scent. However this is where my love for this blend stops. Upon steeping, the tea loses its citrus scent and the taste is just…bleh. There isn’t anything defining or memorable about the taste, which is disappointing.

drank Lemon Lift by Bigelow

Before it’s brewed, right out of the envelope, you smell more of the spice than the actual lemon. However the lemon smell really comes through after brewing. It has a very refreshing citrus taste that isn’t at all overpowering. Also, it doesn’t leave a yucky aftertaste like some other lemon-flavored teas leave. It’s delicious with a bit of honey and I imagine this would be a good tea to drink when you’re under the weather.

A very smooth-tasting Earl Grey. It’s a great wake-me-up tea. The crème makes all the difference as it removes the astringent-like “twang” (can I use that adjective to describe a taste?!) that some Earl Greys leave behind.
