I think it was mid-way through the week in Edmonton when I tried this tea. Yes, the Sunday when I went on the day trip to the Conservatory and TELUS world of Science. The creamy deliciousness that was Coconut Grove was what perked me up for the exploration. I’d say the vanilla notes are what made for the extra richness that was not in Coconut Oolong.

Not to say one is better than the other. I love both equally. But as I couldn’t naturally take my tea collection from home on the trip the Coconut Grove fit the missing spot that the oolong filled just nicely. It smelt fantastic in dry form but really shone once it was brewed. I just recommend if you are at a hotel with their coffee machine brew the water first rather than use their filter for the full effect.

It tastes more pure that way. Or if you are extreme or don’t plan on buying souvenirs bring your electric kettle from home. Haha, but I digress. If you liked the oolong you’ll love this. :)

I find this one to be a nice blend of Vanilla Orchid and Coconut Oolong. Only with a white base.
