I went for the first time on a Sunday in-season and the place was packed. Despite being so busy, the staff was very friendly and the woman who brought my food politely apologized for the wait. I ordered Vegan Southwest Burrito and a cup of China Beauty Rings. Burrito was good, though I could have done without the fake cheese. Tea was spot on. I love how each table has its own tea timer so you can be sure to steep your tea for just the right time. The tea menu was extensive, great selection of both blended and straight loose leaf teas. Teaware sold on the side included Yixing pots and cups and Gung Fu style tea trays. Decor and seating very comfortable and interesting. Built in co-op, Artistree, sells local arts. There were only a few things I’d wish different. 1) Don’t think particular attention is placed on the water temp. 2) Teas stored in glass jars, so no protection from light. 3) Teaware used for serving customers not particularly interesting, kinda clunky. Overall, though, this is a wonderful little find. They also sell their teas to anyone who’d like to take some home. Can’t wait to go back!
