This tea had been one of the four teas from Teavana that I loved and got me started on loose leaf. It is now one of two that they still have from those four, which considering their tendency to retire teas, is pretty impressive that it has stuck around for so many years. I used to love it, but have neglected it as I have explored other teas. I think there was one time that I had it several months back and was underwhelmed. This time, I cold brewed it in an effort to go through it faster. When I first tried it out of the mason jar it was sharp. Like a York peppermint patty kind of sharp, which I find unpleasant. I added a little cream and AH! I think I’m falling in love all over again! Now it is more like a melted mint ice cream. Cool and refreshing. I always think of It’sit mint ice cream sandwiches. The real San Francisco treat. Rice a roni, pfeh! No one eats that boxed processed starch crap in SF. It’s all marketing lies!!! I’m ranting here… I realize that.
Anyways, I’m really enjoying this cup with it’s cool mint and delicious chocolate. Very happy to be reunited again.

Ive never had Rice a Roni.. lol
I grew up in the bay. I think I may have had it once or twice in my late teens when I was starving, poor and 39 cents a box seemed like a doable amount for dinner as well as a change from the ramen and eggos I lived off of. I really didn’t know how to feed myself back then.
Lol, you basically just described my diet; alphagettis, Instant Rice, Eggos, Instant Oatmeal. Those are the “must have” items in my pantry". Fresh food!? What’s that!? Does canned pears and a bag of baby carrots count?
The carrots and pears count. It’s all about baby steps. Baby carrot steps in this case.
