drank Yumberry Wulong Oolong by Teavana
1711 tasting notes

This is weird. I think I taste a touch of hibiscus on the edges of my tongue. It isn’t overdone, but I still don’t appreciate it’s presence. After the hibby tang passes, there is a brief moment of an alkaline taste which is washed away by a fruity perfume like aftertaste. After the sip I’m left with a slight sour taste in my mouth. Even if I did like the flavors, the oolong base seems strange. The whole thing is unbalanced, which I have come to expect from the majority of Teavanna teas, but I keep trying them anyways when they pass by me in a traveling tea box.

Bio

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
