I cold steeped the rest of this sample in the fridge. Put it in and didn’t get around to drinking it for several days! It seemed to have an alkaline taste to it for the first few sips, but that seems to be wearing off. It is strange how it has a refreshing quality to it while the ginger leaves heat in my mouth. The pineapple brightens it a little while hiding in the back. I like it, but I’m not crazy about it cold steeped. Hot is definitely the way to go here.
