Dear cat, I love it when you wake me up at 4 am and refuse to let me fall back asleep because you snubbed the food in your bowl which you loved last week. So I’ve been up super early doing homework and studying because I feel like indulging in some of my hobbies this weekend- primarily sewing. It’s suppose to be raining so it sounds like the perfect indoor activity for me.

Since I’m still not feeling 100%, I didn’t want to drink a stronger tea than green and not risk upsetting my stomach. I love Lupicia’s green teas.

This is an excellent dessert tea, but I wish I got more chocolate and peppermint. I was expecting a peppermint patty but it fell a little flat for my expectation. Otherwise this tea would have received a higher rating from me. I got hit by a craving for chocolate tonight and almost got into my car to get a brownie or a mini cake from Whole Foods or something. But I’m staying good and sipping this down instead. I did lose almost 20 pounds since the new year. I didn’t do any kind of crazy dieting either, I just started working out regularly and making sure I eat healthy.

Oooh… strawberries! I really taste strawberries from this tea but not so much the cream. I actually like this more than Lupicia’s totchiome, which is the only other strawberry green tea I have had. So far I’m really loving this latest order from Della Terra :)

I can definitely smell the white chocolate and the raspberry. Upon taste, a hint of raspberry and the chocolate. Maybe i’ll try steeping this for a little bit longer but I do like this tea! It’s very light and would be perfect after a large meal. I normally don’t like sweet teas, but the raspberry balances this out well. I wish I could taste more of the base, but maybe if I steep it for a bit longer it would improve.

Thank god it’s raining, and thank god I’m still sick and missed school again. The mountain road I have to drive on to get to campus usually is full of accidents when it rains because the road is slippery and people aren’t cautious.
I wanted something orange-y but I loathe orange juice. It upsets my stomach so I’m drinking this instead. However, now that the mail man came I am chugging this down so I can try one of my new Della Terra Teas!

My go to tea for when I’m under the weather. Sure it’s something you can find in the grocery store, but I wanted to drink something with enough spiciness to clear me up. Tastes exactly the way you’d think.

I really need to pick up more of this because I believe it’s going to be my go to tea when I need to unwind. I just love the peppermint and lemongrass. I normally drink this piping hot, but this time I took a shower while my cup cooled down and while it’s not as good, still a delicious cup of tea.

And done! I’m glad I tried this tea, but it really wasn’t for me. However, if I had a craving for sweetness this was my go to tea. Today was one of those days because I was stressed out from studying so much the past week. I brewed this in my timolino and went off to class. I must have needed this because I was practically chugging away while I was taking my test, or maybe tea puts me in a zen state so I can think more clearly? IDK but I’ll tell you what, audit tests are stoopid.

Need a pick me up STAT. I’ll drink black tea in the morning when I’m super groggy still from waking up and need to get up and out ASAP. Right now I’m doing last minute studying for my exam tonight. Thankfully it’s tonight and not 8 am like my tax midterm.

Boiling 2 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

Good luck on the exam!

Good luck!!

Thank you! I hope I did ok..

Someone recently brought up that this tea has been discontinued and to try Alpine Punch instead. What do you mean it has been discontinued?! It’s my holy grail of burnt almond goodness!

I became a tea addict after I decided to make some changes to my diet and cut out soda completely.

Teas I like
I love Japanese green teas but I can be a little snobby about them. When I was in Japan I stayed in an area known for sencha, so I can be pretty picky.

Companies I enjoy
I’ve had most experience with Lupicia because they’re very close to me. I enjoy their non flavored green teas and white teas the most. Their flavored teas are good, but it’s usually a hit or miss.
DavidsTea is a bit far but when I make trips to San Francisco I usually buy a bit. I like their herbal teas the most. Their other teas never wow me and have too much flavoring for me.
I like Adagio for their fan blends – I wish more companies did this! The tea isn’t the best quality but I do enjoy my initial steeps.
I found a store near me that sells Mariage Frères. They’re expensive but I don’t think I have had a more delicious cup of tea before.

Tibits about me
I returned to school several years ago and I am finally graduating in March 2014 so I’m really excited to finally be receiving my bachelor’s. I spend my evenings when I’m not studying watching cheesy scifi movies, playing video games, watching video game streams, or stalking the internet for tea. I have an adorable old man kitty who always wants whatever I’m drinking. When I can, I like to sew and knit while I marathon BBC shows or asian dramas.
