75 Tasting Notes
For me, the sweet nuttiness of this tea is more prominent than the citrus notes (which are there). The coriander is an interesting addition. It is drinkable, but not terribly inspiring to me. I think I will try blending it with some honeybush vanilla like another person suggested in the tasting notes to see if that gives it more body.
Preparation
This tea is smooth, woodsy and vegetal. On the second steeping, it has a more pronounced caramel flavor with less of the vegetal overtones. It is soothing and delicate. However, my immature palate is not refined enough to appreciate all of this tea’s finer subtleties.
I am on my third or fourth cup of this tea today. Overall, my relationship with this tea has improved today as I finally figured out that I was oversteeping it before. When steeped too long, the hibiscus flavors take over completely and it becomes hibiscus tea. When steeped for just one minute, the flavors of the green tea, jasmine and mild peach are there blended nicely with the hibiscus. With a faster steep time, I really enjoy this tea. The jasmine flavors don’t hold up on the second steeping (for two minutes).
Preparation
There is not much creme in this earl gray creme. The bergamot flavor is very strong with a sharp slightly unpleasant aftertaste. The cream tones it down a bit, but it is still not my favorite. I much prefer the Tippy Earl Gray from Golden Moon which is much smoother even without any cream flavor. Have had this a bunch of times trying to finish it off because I bought 4oz of it. I have so many teas that I enjoy more that I think I’ll look to swap this one since the tasting notes suggest others enjoy it more than I do.
Preparation
I’ve had this as my wake up tea for the past 2 mornings with my usual milk and sugar. It’s bold with a fruity overtone. It holds up well to the assault of milk and sugar. It is highly drinkable. A good morning workhorse tea. I got two tasty steeps out of it as well (I didn’t have time to try for a third).

Dear Earl of Anxi,
I don’t know how to begin to thank you for helping me through a harrowing evening of very last minute tax preparation. Your multiple lovely steepings were the only bright spot in the process. You lack any astringency and bring such lovely citrusy and bergamot flavors. You also have the faintest peppery finish to keep me on my toes. You are very aptly named, as you are the Earl I should turn to in times of Anxi(ety) to calm me down and bring me peace. You will always have a place in my cupboard!
Preparation
This is my fourth time drinking this tea, but my first time having it as a latte. Previously, i felt this tea was too sweet. As a latte, it’s sweet almondy goodness is much better. Also tasting cinnamon and vanilla. Maybe some cardamon too?
