For an inexpensive oolong, it does hit the spot~. You can brew it to your own desire, more mild or stronger. I love the unique taste of Oolong, an earthy, full-body concoction that brings me some peace any time I drink it. I have tried it both hot and cold, but I have to say the hot is better becuase there is more flavor than it’s cold counterpart.

This is my main go to when it come sencha at a moderate price. It is refreshing and incredibly enjoyable both hot and cold. I love how you can brew to what ever bitterness you like. I presonally like it bitter. This is my default any time I need to get a boost.

It had been a few years since I had a bowl of matcha, so it was quite invigorating to drink~. I missed its bitter taste and gave me good boost of energy in the morning. I particularly loved and missed the sound of whisking the drink, and that alone brought me a nice sense of focus and calm. After taking some swigs of the mix alone, I had a little sweet with the rest, and it was quite enjoyable. I am pretty sure that there are better powders that I have to look for, but at least for now, this has been a good comeback~.

I just got acquainted to this type about 2 months ago and it has been utterly pleasant. The taste of green tea and rice go together so well. I like to drink this tea to help me when I get peckish but don’t really want to eat. It is quite a nice full-bodied green tea, woodsy and warm.

It is a very enjoyable tea, especially if you want to not have a caffeine-heavy tea. White tea is one of the least processed, unlike black teas, so I really enjoy it for a night tea. It first tastes a bit bitter but then becomes sweet, with a slight aftertaste of rice. It has a nice cooling effect, which works wonders in the summer.

I have just been introduced to Pu-erh 3 months ago, and it was shocking. A good shocking, to be more precise, because it has such wonderful aroma and taste. The color is such a beautiful deep red. The smell smooth and calming, you can smell the fermentation and woodsiness. The taste is equally smooth, not bitter, woodsy, musty, rice taste that transforms to sweetness. I do hold the pu-erh compacted more to my preference than loose leafed, but it is still very enjoyable and great to make multiple brews.

It was quite a shocker to me, actually. Not at all in a bad way, but just in a way that I had not experienced before. I am quite used to green and black teas, so the nuances of this tea were very new to me. It had many flavors, including the hint of chocolate. To me (and m sister who tried it out with me) reminded us very much like wine, an alcoholic scent. It had some spicy hints, and then turned sweet. Not to bad, to recap.

The smell was tart and sweet, the raspberry very present in the scent. The taste was first a bit bitter and tart, but then turn to a smooth sweetness, which was a nice relief from the first surprise. For someone who has a sweet-tooth, this would be good transition tea.

It had a beautiful nutty and tarty smell, nothing too overpowering. The taste was just as good, a bit smoky and woodsy, with the almond accenting very nicely. It was smooth, again nothing overpowering and left a nice sweet aftertaste. I will definitely have to drink it again.

The scent is just absolutely lovely when it reached my nose. The taste was equally as enjoyable, with first a woodsy taste and later the sweetness surfaces. It truly holds to the name “the Champagne of India”.
