Iced, first without, but then with honey, it’s just great! Really tastes and smells like cherry cola. But it really need a bit of an extra sweetener. Stevia alone doesn’t do the job. And the second pitcher made with a 2nd brew of my teaball was better than the first. That made me says that it really need a sort steep for the first brew (3 minutes was a bit too much).

Sample received with my last order. The leafs are so beautiful, dark green (but I must confess I though of fresh cutted lawn at first look…)

Dry smell : Awesomely fresh and green, and I can even smell a touch of butter.
Once steeped, it keeps the same wonderful smell.

The taste : OMG! This is it! The same heavenly taste of my sushis restaurant’s tea. My water was to hot so it is a little bitter, but I’m sure the 2nd steep will be perfect. I had some japan green tea before, but cannot stand them (except the one at the sushi rest.), so I usually turning myself to chinese green tea. But this one… This one is THE thing! Probably the butter taste makes all the difference. I did not give it a perfect score only because this one is not organic…

Dry nose : there is something I can’t stand, but I can’t put my finger on it, a fake butterscotch extract? I often pass on that one because of that…

Once brew, that fake smell fortunately disappears. To me, it tastes “round”. I don’t get the chocolate thing, but butterscotch-y – yes! The mix of white and black tea brings something boldly “multidimensional”.

2nd steep (1 minute) : identically good! It would easily takes a third steep, but I got enough of butterscotch for this morning…

First, I must say I think I have a problem with oolong. My stomach often feel weird after half of a cup… That’s why I can’t give a better rating to this tea, even if the spices are well balanced (in fact, it seems to me like the exact same spices blend than Organic Saigon Chai – which is one of my favorite), even if the oolong brings a lightness totally appropriate for an afternoon tea, even if I don’t mind the stevia at all…

Second brew, with a splash of honey : As good as the firts one :)

I used to be in love with this tea, the coconut-raspberry mix beeing just so perfect. My love has faded… It’s like à can’t brew it right anymore, the result always beeing bitter :( It’s the first batch (of last spring). I ordered the last 250g available online to get a big bag on “end of jar” tea. Most of the leaves are broken into small pieces – probably the reason why I can’t find the same perfect taste that my first tin gave me. Maybe I should reduce temp.

Sampler received with my last online order. The smell is very fruity, like a tropical fruits salad. The fruit taste is more subtil, the rooibos taking almost all the place. Not exactly what I wanted to drink, but it still very satisfying.

I’m so not a banana fan, but this? This is good, this is pure creamy-sweet-perfection! The banana taste is there, but not in an agressive way, more like a professionnal dancers couple… A perfect soft morning tea.
