Brews a kind of peachy-orange color. Tastes of light earth/fresh wood that grows upon further steepings only to gently fade out. There is a smooth rock sugar overtone that makes the tea very pleasant. Some grape on the tip of my tongue. A mild but unique Shu.

Picked up a couple of free samples at the SF international tea festival. Sweet and floral. Light malty taste. I get a little tired of this one after a few of cups but it is a good change of pace. There is a great smell to both the raw leaves and steeped tea.

Clean, buttery, and refreshing. Slightly nutty finish. A little overpriced, but tasty nun the less.

Smoke and spice. Mostly smoke.

Just deleted my initial review. I was unimpressed when I first bought this, however I quickly realized my stash disappearing at a much faster rate then other teas i supposedly liked better. This stuff is great. Smooth, rich, creamy, balanced, soothing yet energizing.

Pours dark carmel in color, and smells of earth and spice (pepper). Tastes like one would expect, malty earth with a small pepper kick. No smoke and a weak (almost non existent) chocolate finish. Underwelming.
