1 Tasting Note

One of my absolute favourites from Bird and Blend, which is a company I’ve loved for about 5 years now. Nice bergamot notes in the Earl Grey, definitely appreciating the vanilla as well. I drink this without milk as I think you can appreciate the flavours more this way, however it does also make a nice London Fog tea latte! Just chucked it in a basket infuser in a normal sized mug as I couldn’t be asked to faff about with a teapot, got two good steeps out of it. Probably could have gotten 3 but wanted to move on to something else.

Big time tea lover, getting properly into my loose leaf these days, life has been revolutionised by the use of a Gaiwan! Regular baker and avid bookworm, as I think tea is only improved by books and cake!

Favourites teas: Green tea particularly Japanese Sencha. Trying to get more into Chinese teas.
Recent convert to Oolong, have a lovely orange Oolong that tastes wonderful even on the 7th steep in a Gaiwan.
I love flavoured black teas, particularly Earl Grey or anything with rose in it. Trying to experiment more with unflavoured blacks.

Dislikes: I love pretty much all tea or will at least give it a go but i’m really not a fan of Assam. It’s just too malty and inclined towards bitterness for me.
