This tea is a pretty good substitute for my usual morning cup of coffee. I really like the nutty/chocolate smells that come out of this tea as it steeps. Best part is that carries over into the flavor and adds in just enough spice to give that extra little kick to get my day started. (I also add in two sugar cubes to sweeten to my liking.)

Just dropped a bag of this in my cup for an afternoon chill out. It has been one of those days and I need something soothing or else someone might loose an arm. ANYWAY…to me this tea has a nice smooth flavor and a even mix of rooibos and vanilla flavors. Now if only I had some steamed soy milk to mix in here….yum! But alas simply the tea with a few sugar cane crystals.

I completely understand the image of someone losing an arm! People are driving me insane today. I have a shovel in my car…

Excellent! I may have use for it. Cannot wait to go home and only have to deal with my husband and cats who surprisingly never give me much trouble. :)

Drinking this again this morning….hoping the peppermint can help me jump start my day. It’s very strong so I tend to add in some Silver Needle (also a Teavana tea) and 2 or 3 sugar cubes. This morning it’s all about the peppermint, with a cube of sugar….yeah it’s going to be one of those days!

Pretty good pick me up in the morning. I find the minty flavor helps settle my stomach when a migraine is looming. Be sure to add in some sugar or Teavana’s Silver Needle (1/2 a teaspoon) to cut the tea as it can sometimes be rather strong.

There is a beautiful mix of the vanilla and rooibos as the tea steeps. Added to the tea I use a small amount of German rock cane. The flavor is light on the vanilla and very heavy on the rooibos (will have to add more Honeybush Vanilla next time). I’m not unsatisfied with this blend…it’s really tasty.

This is (for me) the perfect substitute for a morning cup of coffee. The aroma is great at it steeps. I love the mix of flavors too. Just the right touch of chocolate and nuts. I like to make mine with a cube of regular sugar and a teaspoon of German Rock sugar…..perfection on a Monday morning. (Plus I gave up coffee for lent SO I need some pep in my step!)

The perfect tea ( at least I think) when I wake with a four alarm migraine. See my previous note on this tea for more.

Oh no! A fellow migraine sufferer! Hope you feel better – migraines are the freakin’ WORSE. :(

Running late this morning…this is all I could grab when I got to work. Once I get to my office on campus I’ll be enjoying something else. I can’t complain because Lipton tea did introduce me to tea drinking. So that’s one plus in favor of it…after that it’s all down hill from there.

I find this tea to have a bit of a tart taste to it. So I prefer it in the afternoon when I feel I’m starting to slip away at work. I like to add one sugar cube to sweeten it just a little.

Bio

I am a tea lover, a wife, mom of one, and servant to three cats (all rescues). I love to read and write. I’m also a BIG fan of the following shows: BBC Sherlock, Doctor Who, Law and Order, Supernatural, Bones, and more – bless Netflix.

I started drinking and enjoying tea when I was 7 (sure it was bagged Lipton, but it got me started) with my grandmother. As I said it was Lipton with milk and sugar (and peanut butter and jelly on toast) and my love just grew from there. I was brought to loose leaf through a trip to Teavana. But my taste has expanded to many different types of tea since then. I review teas at the link provided, check it out!
