1112 Tasting Notes
I had a rough week, and boy – something sweet seemed like the most appealing thing in the world this morning. I realized I had this in my cupboard and never tried it! As I say in my description:
I had so many berry tea samples! I decided to combine them for the sake of simplicity. This includes Dammann Freres Paul et Virginie, Harney & Sons Paris, Kusmi St. Petersburg, and probably something I’m forgetting! :)
I am drinking it without milk, and with just a half teaspoon of sugar. WELL, if it isn’t the exact perfect thing for today. The delightful berry flavors, bit of sweetness, and good tea are lifting my mood and making me smile. Sometimes a little froof makes all the difference. :)
Preparation
Big meeting today. I chose my kick a**, take names, poor but happy cousin tea to keep me focused and invigorated. I love it at 175 and steeped for barely a minute, each infusion getting a little longer. It makes this crazy-strong, puts hair on your chest beast of a tea into a little delightful pussycat!
Preparation
My last sachet (weep weep weep!). Excellent spices, comforting vanilla. I had it with just a squirt of honey, and it was the perfect drink to warm me up and help me wind down. This tisane will be missed!
Preparation
Hi Jacqueline, don’t let it end. :) thanks a lot for trying and loving our cinnamon chai. Sorry it took so long to notice your posts. We’re trying to get better with social media. If you have any questions about tea or would like to try more of our offerings please reach out anytime to [email protected]. Happy tea drinking!
My coworker asked if I could make some 175 degree water for her green tea in my kettle, so I thought I would make a tea which tastes great at that temperature too! Yunnan Golden Buds came immediately to mind. I have lost track of the number of infusions, but I’ve been drinking cup after cup since 9am (it’s now almost 1pm!) and the tea is still a sweet potato and brown sugar delight. Amazing.
Preparation
Had some Dreamy Banana Creme Pie before bed last night ;) A splash of milk is delightful in this one. Sweet, dessert like. Nice banana flavor. Also I AM SO MAD that the new Cheesecake honeybush flavor from 52 teas sold out in hours!!!! Gosh darn!
Preparation
You might want to recheck the website soon. I saw something in the discussion boards about Frank reblending this one because it was such a hit.
He did send out a Tweet saying that he is reblending 2 more pounds because of the demand. So I am sure if you keep an I eye out you will get to order some. :-)
Oh, oh, oh, oh what a mistake I made last night! I was freezing and I had the big one of this right before class at 7:30pm last night. I DID NOT SLEEP A WINK! It was a very delicious, citrusy, lavendery mistake, but a mistake none the less! I am going to get something herbal from now on!
Preparation
I must be the only one who can’t taste the bergamot in this blend. I have tried it in Starbuck’s and at home. Tasted more like an English Breakfast tea to me. Glad you enjoyed it.
Oy, sorry you didn’t sleep! I couldn’t sleep either, and I thought the pain killers following my surgery would knock me right out! Not so! I slept from 5 am to 8 am! Fortunately, Sandy was on Skype in New Zealand to keep me company all that time (it was civil daytime for her!) and we even planned a virtual tea party for today…which we had and it was delightful!
