I used my new teapot today.

When I smell the leaves dry, they smell musty and very smokey like a BBQ or campfire.

When I smell the leaves wet, I smell honey, spices and lots of smoke like a BBQ or campfire.

Light steep:

The color of the brewed tea is a light yellow. I taste flowers, light honey, light spices and little to no smoke.

Medium steep:

The color of the brewed tea is a medium yellow. I taste little to no flowers. I also taste medium smoke, honey and spices.

Strong steep:

The color of the brewed tea is a dark yellow. I taste strong smoke, honey and spices. No flower taste.

This tea is a lot similar to 2013 yunnan sourcing autumn ye sheng.

I rate it a 100 because it’s just awesome and tasty!

Garret

While we have plenty of this in loose leaf, we also have our second shipment of the 200f cakes coming in “any day now”. They are out of customs and on the way. I am happy you enjoyed it, Kirk. I am a little obsessed with this ripe tea, myself! Grateful, Garret
