I just got this tea today. It smelled so sweet and rich. The flavor was light, a little buttery, sweet. This is exactly what I wanted in a tea on this day. Those are the best days, aren’t they? The best part was drinking this tea out of a soup bowl which allowed me to slurp all the subtle earthy flavors.

When I want an earthy but light tea I go right for this. It’s not as floral or light as I like my greens but it gets the job done without being too understated. Eating some plain jasmine rice with this tea is an excellent, simple meal.

I’m not usually a fan of scented or flavored teas and Earl Grey has never been high on my list. But this tea is perfect when I want to fill my face with aroma and flavor (and a little milk and sugar to boot). It’s so bold and tasty. Great alone or with some cookies on the side as an after dinner snack.
