I think I’ve got it! The perfect combination of time, water, and milk. This would be no feat if it weren’t for the fact that I’ve been making this tea in a traditional Chinese gaiwan. The traditional way is meant for the stove with water, milk, and tea boiling together. As this is for a project, I’m trying a different route.

If you like bitter tastes, then this is the tea for you. I did not like this tea in the least! It was unbearably bitter. I put 3tbsp of honey and it did absolutely no good. I really don’t have much to say about the taste other than ICK! I know that aloe and cactus have great properties for skin, hair and immune system, but I think I will stick to ingesting aloe through delicious jellies.

Yesterday I was under the weather, however towards 6pm or so I began to feel the dreaded scratch at the back of my throat. It progressed throughout the night and I knew that I was catching a cold. I took immediate action. I made this brand of peppermint tea for the first time. It was very strong in smell when I opened the box. It needed to steep longer than my usual brand but the taste was perfect. I fea little better but not like I would with my usual brand

I made this 2 days ago because I caught a bug and I was feeling terribly nauseous. I actually suffered the whole day before it came to me while laying in bed that ginger was an excellent remedy for nausea. I knew I had run out of ginger tea but I made myself go check the cupboard anyway. Low and behold, there was one pack waiting for me. It was a perfect remedy that allowed my nausea to settle down enough for me to fall asleep. The next morning, at least in the stomach department, I was whole once more

I made this loose tea again a couple days ago and I’m finally getting the flow of the right combination of milk and water down. It was always too watery or too milky but this time was just right. The tea was creamy and spicy without being too much of one element. Practice makes perfect

This tea was the first time I’ve done loose leaf black tea. The smell alone permeates the room with a delicious spicy aroma. I steeped it in boiling hot water and milk for 3 minutes. It. Was. Delicious. I originally intended to add sugar but I forgot, even without it the tea was so good. And the energy it gave me was perfect to keep me energized for my night job, as I made the tea at 8pm before I went to work. I still have some perfecting to do on the steeping but so far so good

My roommate was begin to get sick (sniffles and all) and was having a sneezing episode, the dreaded nonstop sneezing back to back. I know that mint tea always makes me feel 10 times better when I’m sick so I decided to make her some. I wanted her to get the full effect of the mint and spearmint’s healing properties so I made her half a cup so that the tea would be concentrated. While I was in the tea-making mood, I made myself and my sister some has well. I wanted to give our immune systems a boost, especially bc a common cold can keep me out of commission for a week! When I came home from work and school the next day, I found my roommate up and bouncing around the house on a cleaning binge. She was brand new and cleaning everything so that the germs weren’t lingering about the house. I’ve reviewed this tea before praising its deliciousness. Yet again, I am reviewing this tea because it’s just THAT good

This is my favorite tea! I grew up drink and eating a lot of ginger so I’m inclined towards ginger tea. The ginger flavor is so strong and I absolutely love it. It is great for stomach cramps and clearing my sinuses. I could drink this everyday!

I wasn’t feeling very well tonight as I have a head cold in full swing, so I decided to have some tea in hopes hat it would make me feel a little better. Whenever I’m feeling ill I try to have a steaming cup of tea to ease me, if only a little. I will say this tea has helped a little to alleviate the pressure (head colds are he WORST). Just being able to smell the smoky fragrance helps me feel better, though I’m not sure if it’s a placebo effect or if it is really helping lol

I caught a cold a couple days ago and have been finding it a bit difficult to breath . I’m not a fan of Vick’s vapor rub but I mean I’ve GOT to breath. This tea always helps open up my nasal passages and also helps calm the headache that comes with the constant sneezing. I love mint teas and this one in particular is one of my favs so far as it has both spearmint and peppermint combined.
