I always keep a box of this tea in my pantry in order to make iced sweet tea. I do not much like this tea hot, but I love it iced. I use this tea steeped with ginger root and sweetened with lemonade mix. Makes an awesome sweet tea lemonade.

This tea was gifted to me along with a tea pot, so it has a special place in my heart. I find it to be a delicious tea, although it can be a little sweet. After steeping it, I often dilute it with more water. It very clearly tastes like plum, is sweet and not sour or bitter.

I received this tea as a gift. I was skeptical at first becuase I didn’t think maple syrup would go with green tea. Surprisingly it is very good. It has a delicate green tea taste sweetened with just enough maple sugar. Its a Canadian must have!
The maple coffee is also delicious.

drank Earl Grey (loose leaf) by Twinings

This is my all time favorite. I love the Twinnings brand of Earl Grey. I drink it every day. I find it to be smooth with a hint of beramot that is not overpowering. If you forget about it, and it steeps for a longer period of time, it is still good and does not become bitter.
I use this brewed tea, instead of just hot water, to make hot granola or oatmeal, absolutely delicious.
I also love the history of this tea and of the Twinnings tea company.
My tastebuds will never tire of this tea!

This was one of the first Earl Grey teas I tried. This was when I first fell in love with the Earl. I still enjoy this brand, however, I found it could be a little tart/bitter and not so smooth. Does not taste too good if it steeps for too long.
My favorite tea but not my favorite brand.

drank Organic Matcha by Matcha Factory

It took me a while to figure out how to properly make matcha so I would enjoy the taste.
I use matcha as an ingedrient in quite a few recipes and it tastes great when mixed with plain yogurt (and some type of sweetener).
The only thing I do not like, is I don’t like drinking things that are too hot, and I find as I let the drink cool the matcha powder settles to the bottom.

I like this tea, even though I am an adult :)
It tastes just like a gum ball. The only bad thing is the gum balls that come in the tea are often hard as a rock. This tea can get bitter if it is steeped for too long.
It tastes great with milk or cream (kind of like bubble gum ice cream – yum!).
I found it is a great way to introduce kids to tea.

I do not drink this tea often, however I find it enjoyable. The hibiscus can make it taste quite bitter so you have to watch how long you steep it. I also add sweetener to it. It makes a great tea latte as well.

I tried several cranberry teas before I stumbled on this one. I find the taste quite enjoyable. I found many cranberry teas were quite bitter and overpowering, even with the shortest steeping time. But I find this tea is good, although you have to watch how long you steep it for. I usually add a stick of cinnamon and one star anise for a little extra flavour.

This is one of my favorite go to teas when I am not feeling well. I love the strong ginger taste. I find the longer you steep it the spicier it tastes. The peach adds a hint freshness. I find this tea calming and relaxing and helps with indigestion. I buy this tea in a tea bag form as I do not drink it very often, so that it will last longer. Out of the many brands I have tried, the Presidents Choice is my favorite for this tea, and it is also on the cheaper side.

Bio

I am a lifetime tea lover.

I did foray into the world of coffee for a period of time, but I returned to my true love. I still, however, enjoy a good cup of java.

My all time favorite tea is Earl Grey, which I drink every morning, the stronger the bergamot the better. I definitely prefer natural oil of bergamot to artificial flavouring.

I mostly like black and dark oolong teas. My current favs are Fujian blacks, Keemun and Assams, and Wuyi oolongs. I gravitate towards anything with lychee in it. I also drink a lot of herbal blends but am wary of hibiscus. I do not favour mate, or pu’erh tea, although I have found a few blends that I like. (I so badly want to like straight pu’erh tea but it all tastes gross to me. I keep trying though). Rooibos, green and white teas fall somewhere in the middle. I find myself gravitating towards heavily roasted oolongs and teas from Paris/France based companies.

I love iced teas and cold brews.

My current tea goal is to make the perfect cup of chai from scratch – almost there…I think.

I am in love with the whole experience of tea.
