One of the things that I absolutely adore about this tea (aside from it’s amazing flavor) is the aroma! As it brews (and now, as the cup sits here in front of me) the scent takes on the most delightful honey-esque scent. Delightful!

I wrote a full-length review for this tea which will publish this Friday on the SororiTea Sisters blog. In the meantime, please feel free to consult my previous tasting notes about this tea.

Thank you Rachel for sending me a bit of this to try!

This is really good. Apricot and pineapple are two flavors I wouldn’t have thought of combining, but they work really well together. It is sweet and nectar-like, but not so much that it doesn’t taste like tea either. A nice balance.

Yum! Thanks Rachel!

drank Ceylon Black by Drink The Leaf

Today is my family’s thanksgiving, so I’m going crazy in the kitchen. The teas that I’ll be reaching for today are some tried and true favorites like this one – ones that I’ve already tasted, enjoyed, and about which I’ve already shared my thoughts.

I did want to make one note on this one, though… I read mrawlins2’s tasting note on this one where she indicated a similarity to Dawn… and I want to say that I can taste that as well. There are some definite cocoa notes… this one isn’t as bold or chewy as Dawn, but there are definitely some similarities.

Delicious!

drank Eggnog Red Rooibos by Suffuse Tea
4843 tasting notes

This tisane isn’t on the Suffuse website, it is part of their Festive Medley (which is also not on their website yet).

I am not big on eggnog… I don’t dislike it, but it isn’t something that I go out of my way to consume, either.

This is pretty good… I can taste the eggnog flavor. It’s a nice, creamy kind of taste. The rooibos flavor is light, not heavy on the woody flavor but nice, nutty hints that go well with the eggnog flavor.

Delicious, orange and creamy! I am currently writing a review for this for the SororiTea Sisters blog… it will appear later this evening! I hope you’ll watch for it!

Finishing the package of this that TeaEqualsBliss sent me and finishing up my review for it (it will publish on November 30 at on http://sororiteasisters.com )

This is a really delightful Oolong. It has light notes of smoke and earth, it is nutty, sweet, fruity and delicious! I really like it.

drank Gold Rush by Red Leaf Tea

This is a good mango and passion fruit flavored black tea – not as strong with the flavor as I might have liked. The delicious black tea base is front and center with this blend. The pretty flowers are there primarily for appearance sake, but, there is a faint, generic floral note to the cup.

Overall a really nice blend. Thanks to TeaEqualsBliss for sending it my way!

It’s been a while since I’ve had tea from California Tea House… this one has always been one of my favorites – Thanks to TeaEqualsBliss I get the opportunity to try it again!

I love the balance in this blend. The ginger is lightly peppery, the citrus taste sweet and not pucker-y, the chamomile is light and adds a little depth to the fruit taste, and the Sencha is fresh and sweet tasting. It all comes together very nicely.

Yummy! It’s a nice way to unwind!

I am obsessed with tea!

I am a co-founder of the SororiTEA Sisters:

I no longer write for the SororiTea Sisters but I am still the admin for the blog.

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

http://52teas.com

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
