My second bowl of Matcha for the day! But, I am justifying it this way (yes, I justify everything that I do): first of all, I have a lot of work to do, and I’m still not doing it. I’m hoping that more Matcha will motivate me to get some work done! second, I opened a new pouch of Matcha with the Cotton Candy Matcha, and I’m supposed to be trying to finish off the already opened Matcha… so I thought, if I am going to open a Matcha I need to at least have some of the already opened matcha. yeah. So there.

Today, I combined the Watermelon Matcha with the Strawberry Matcha in a 2:1 ratio (2 parts Watermelon to 1 part Strawberry) and I think that this may be my favorite watermelon combination yet! The strawberry and watermelon go together beautifully! Sweet, just a hint of strawberry tartness, and absolutely delicious. Nice vegetative tone and I like the way the watermelon and strawberry interact with the vegetative notes of the Matcha. Sweet, hints of bitter and a tart aftertaste, and a very smooth, rich texture. Nice… very nice!

I finally got my Red Leaf Tea order from Saturday. My previous orders from Red Leaf were much quicker, within a couple of days, three days max, but, this one was slower, but I don’t think Red Leaf is at fault with that… I think that it was held up in the postal system for whatever reason… just glad it arrived! Hooray for Bavarian Cream!

I am obsessed with tea!

I am a co-founder of the SororiTEA Sisters:

I no longer write for the SororiTea Sisters but I am still the admin for the blog.

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
