I love this tea a lot. It is earthy and sweet and just perfect for the morning when you are a bit groggy and need some help from your teacup :)
Very smooth tea. The smell is sweet and reminds me of cinnamon toast crunch mixed with honey. The taste is very clean, green and enjoyable. It’s a laid back cup for me, which is exactly what I am looking for at 5pm. However, I would have liked to have a bit more flavor, it isn’t strong, but it could be stronger, imo.
this was my birthday tea today! :)
Thanks you guys for all the sweet birthday wishes :) It really means a lot! Hope you all had fantastic weekends!
well, it’s the morning and before I start social networking i prefer to have tea in me!
Last night I brewed Jasmine Pearls in my everyday teapot. and this morning, this tea still smells of jasmine. That is pretty remarkable. This tea is great. The taste is quite complex and reminds me a tiny bit of green tea. The tea steeps up a slightly herbaceous, yet woody/fresh taste. There is a sweetness, but it is more on the back end of my palette. After I swallow, the tea’s finish is this wonderful lingering sweetness that makes me want another sip!
I really dig this tea. It smelled amazing in the package that I received yesterday! I’m steeping it tonight while indulging in Alice in Wonderland again(such a good movie!). My initial reaction is the steeped smell of the wet leaves and the liquor is overwhelmingly like you stuck you nose into a freshly made plate of rice. Rice is the overwhelming smell. The taste, reminds me of a genmaicha meets green tea meets pu erh. The flavor profiles of all three of those remind me of this tea.The genmaicha is most likely because of the rice as well. I like this tea, it’s very unique! Bravo, Tony on another great tea you offer! :)
