I have attempted my very first homemade tea latte. Re-steep of yesterday’s leaves (10 minutes), skim milk, and agave nectar (I can’t get the lid off the honey).

If I say so myself, this is one damn good latte. I wish I had some white chocolate syrup that I could have used instead of the agave nectar because, well, face it, you can’t get enough chocolate. But I’m really, really happy with how it turned out!

Note: when plain, the second steep isn’t nearly as lovely as the first. In fact, it’s almost straight honeybush, but the minty chocolate is there in the aftertaste. This, sadly, will be a one-steep only brew.

You could have made a black tie grasshopper latte and used chocolate syrup:)

Oh make it quick I really want to know what it tastes like. Please :-)

Jaime

I’m drinking it now…it’s a very small one, since I drank some of the pot plain…but it’s really, really good. Seriously. Like, better-than-most-men good.

Well, I caved AGAIN! Even though LiberTeas sent me a sample I should be receiving soon I still caved. As good as the reviews are…“Seriously. Like, better-than-most-men good.” I knew it was time to buy because after that I sort of thought they would start to sell out fast. An endorsement like that can really get a girl to crack open her wallet, and fast! Well, at least me. Dear husband, if you find yourself reading this comment by some chance I just want to let you know that I promise this is no reflection on you. :-)

Bio

My love of tea started in 2001, whilst in an internship in London, England. I shared an office with a lovely man who would make me a cup of tea every morning without asking me if I even wanted it. I drink my tea neat now, because I’ve yet to find the sugar/milk combination that lives up to Pablo’s.

I drink any and all kinds of tea, and love trying new brands/varieties/flavors.
