This is the second time for me with this tea. The first time was so much jasmine that I decided to lower the steeping time to 2 minutes. The jasmine wasn’t so overpowering this time. I think I like this tea even better this way. Now I can even taste the tea and not just the jasmine.

I’ll have to give that a go. I actually don’t mind being hit in the face with jasmine – so long as it’s good jasmine – which might be why I like this tea. However, it would be nice to taste more of the actual tea, so I’ll give 2 minutes a spin next time!

This tea is so mild for me that I can’t really taste any of the notes that others have tasted. I guess its an ok tea, but it just doesn’t do it for me. The plus is that I only bought an ounce of it from my health foods store. So when its gone I don’t see me buying any more of it.

I like the way this tea feels on the tongue. Its slightly sweet and smoky. It reminds me of coffee in the morning. It smells of lapsong souchong, but doesn’t taste heavily of it. This tea is on its way to becoming my go to tea.

This is a very enjoyable tea. Its smooth and smoky and gets better every time I drink it. The tea smells great and I just enjoy smoky teas. It has a dark amber color and warms me all over when I drink it. As cold as it is here in Maine, I need this tea.

Jasmine, Jasmine, Jasmin… All I can say is wow. It hits you in the nose like a prize fighter.
The tea is clean and mellow and is stronger than any other jasmine tea I have tasted, and not in a bad way. You can smell the jasmine wafting off the tea. My wife could smell the tea sitting 5 feet away. This is not a tea I would drink everyday, but its a nice change of pace. I really enjoyed this tea and will drink again when in the mood.

This is a very good Earl Grey Tea. When you open the tin, the bergamot hits you on the nose. The taste is smooth and mellow with a little more bergamot than Twinings. I use about a 1/2 tsp raw cane sugar and it brings out the bergamot. Its a very tasty brew and I like it a lot. I drink EG tea every day and this one is one of the best I have had.

Ahhh smoky tea. This tea is very smooth and very tasty. Only a touch of lapsang souchong which is good for my tastes. This is really not a heavy tea. Its light on the tongue with a hint of sweetness. I could really learn to like this tea a lot.

I just had my first cup of this amazing tea. I love it. Its smoky, but not overly so. Its very smooth and not bitter at all. It doesn’t taste as heavy as it smells. You can smell and taste the lapsang souchong in this tea. It has to have Yunnan in it. I wish I knew the other teas in this blend. I used tsp and 1/2 with boiling water for 4 min. Later today I intend to go 5 min. I will rate this tea after I’ve had a few more cups. After a 5 min steep, I felt like I was just getting off my camel. It was just a little stronger but still smooth and smokey. All I can say is that this is a very good well thought out tea. Andrews and Dunham should sell this tea alone without the other 2 teas (which I haven’t tried yet) and in a larger size.

Having a cup of Twinings EG right now as I write this. Its just perfect. Still my fav EG. Its smooth and the bergamot is just perfect.I use about a tsp and a half of tea, boiling water and 5 minute steep. Very easy.
I love this EG, but I intend to keep looking for the perfect EG that I can rate 100. Still not there yet. I’m expecting some in the mail this week.

I really love this tea. Its dark brown and nutty, maybe chestnuts. Its so easy to drink with a sweet taste. I found this tea at Biglots, which means very inexpensive. The taste really grows on you. Now I need to try some other brands and compare, maybe Maeda-en.
